It was a dark dreary day today with a cold front coming through.
I went out in the back yard to let my killer Bull dog do her thing.
When I stepped outside I noticed the trees were full of
Turkey Vultures. I counted nine all together, with one of them perched on the back of the bench on my dock.
I let Silky take care of business, and took her back inside.
I grabbed my camera, went back outside, and they were still there. I walked within 30 feet or less of the one on my my dock and took a few shots. This being one of them.
There was a small fish kill with the last cold front that came through and I think they were there to snack on the dead fish.

Specifically, the FBI wants us to make a new version of the iPhone operating system, circumventing several important security features, and install it on an iPhone recovered during the investigation. In the wrong hands, this software – which does not exist today – would have the potential to unlock any iPhone in someone’s physical possession.”
Apple’s position on the matter is clear: acquiescing to the FBI’s request to develop a tool to unlock an iPhone, even if it belonged to a murderous terrorist, would set a dangerous precedent and slippery slope.
China is watching the dispute closely. Analysts say the Chinese government does take cues from United States when it comes to encryption regulations, and that it would most likely demand that multinational companies provide accommodations similar to those in United States.
Last year, Beijing backed off several proposals that would have mandated that foreign firms providing encryption keys for devices sold in China after heavy pressure from foreign trade groups. …
While it’s still not clear how the law might be carried out, it is possible a push from American law enforcement agencies to unlock iPhones would embolden Beijing to demand the same. China would also most likely push to acquire any technology that would allow it to unlock iPhones.

Never mind the FBI in the UK, GCHQ have been monitoring your communications for years, they didn't even bother to ask.
Edward Snowden, former intelligence contractor told the BBC's Panorama that UK intelligence agency GCHQ had the power to hack into phones without their owners' knowledge.
The UK government declined to comment.

After a recent rebuild and repaint, LIRR 154 leads a train through New Rochelle in order to exchange M7s with Metro-North to go back to Arch Street Shops.

De opbrengst van de Rode Kruis Eenden Rally komt volledig ten goede aan de “Drentse Week”. Deze vakanties worden georganiseerd door het Ned. Rode Kruis in het District Drenthe en zijn bedoeld voor mensen met een lichamelijke en/of sociale beperking.
Recently went back where my father passed his last few years of life. This is the last of many accomplishment he has made throughout his short visit here on earth. This sweat and hand made gazebo should stand the test of time!
Re-rooted Live Work Play Giselle with a hand blend of blonde and pale red.
She was done by Valmaxi...after I told her I wanted a subtle red-gold blend. And, again, she nailed it.
As I look back on this year, I've been so blessed. My happiest moments include:
-Becoming a runner/racer(albeit fairly slow)
-Getting to visit Walt Disney World & Disneyland within the same month (thanks to some of the aforementioned races)
-Getting to visit Massachusetts and see Larry and Kristin
-Quitting my job to follow God's will and my heart
-Starting a photography blog with Kristin and Kristi.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg! So much more has happened to me this year, sometimes as much bad as good, but I prefer to reflect on the good times and learn from the bad. I hope and pray that all of you have set some new goals and that you chase after them this year.

Hounslow have been receiving a few ADE’s lately, most new to Epsom Buses but ADE40401 here was of course new to LU (at Hounslow) for the 81, 222 and part of the 120, all since lost to Metroline!
I had a ride on it on the H98 today (among the SP’s) and it’s seen leaving the Craneswater stop heading for Hayes End. It was late & slow and about to be overtaken by SP40045 so I stepped back for the empty Scania and got to Hayes first! 10.11.22.
26027 rumbles across the Forth Bridge with a southbound ballast train on 28th November 1984. This picture was taken during an official visit to the bridge arranged by the members of the Newcastle University Railway Society. Such visits were permitted at this time and on this occasion the main instruction from our guide was to "stand well back lads" whenever a train approached. There was very limited clearance as can be seen from this picture and, on the day in question, there was a strong and freezing wind gusting to 30-40 mph!!
The Viridis was developed as a bomber craft. It's strong armor and devastating payload makes it very destructive against large enemy stations or battleships. The storage bay on the bottom can also double for carrying cargo or supplies for long scouting missions.
The Viridis is an amalgamation of several projects I had in the works, the thrusters are inspired by some concept art I saw online. The fuselage started out as an attempt at something similar to a Star Trek style shuttle. I created the thrusters and thought they looked great, but I had a really hard time coming up with a fuselage that matched, so I re-purposed some elements of it into the Ocellaris. I didn't want to give up on the thrusters though, so I kept messing around and then while looking at another project, I realized the fuselage from a different ship I was stuck on fit perfectly. So I combined the two projects and ended up with something I am really happy with!
I have a bunch of MOCs I have made over the years, and since Taylor and I are now posting all of our pictures under the same profile, I thought it would be good to upload them now that I have some decent pictures.
