De opbrengst van de Rode Kruis Eenden Rally komt volledig ten goede aan de “Drentse Week”. Deze vakanties worden georganiseerd door het Ned. Rode Kruis in het District Drenthe en zijn bedoeld voor mensen met een lichamelijke en/of sociale beperking.
...funny how many "business" trips our little tree-hugging Figgy has had in SF lately. Those hippie organizations certainly have an interesting concept of team building.
So today was awesome. We spontaneously decided to do the shoot we've been talking about for weeks and boy I'm glad we did!

Back On The Chain Gang
Recently went back where my father passed his last few years of life. This is the last of many accomplishment he has made throughout his short visit here on earth. This sweat and hand made gazebo should stand the test of time!
Re-rooted Live Work Play Giselle with a hand blend of blonde and pale red.
She was done by Valmaxi...after I told her I wanted a subtle red-gold blend. And, again, she nailed it.
Been off work for 20 weeks due to shoulder surgery back in January. Been hell, hell, hell & more hell, so so so glad to get back to the grindstone. :-))))))))))))))))))))
Hounslow have been receiving a few ADE’s lately, most new to Epsom Buses but ADE40401 here was of course new to LU (at Hounslow) for the 81, 222 and part of the 120, all since lost to Metroline!
I had a ride on it on the H98 today (among the SP’s) and it’s seen leaving the Craneswater stop heading for Hayes End. It was late & slow and about to be overtaken by SP40045 so I stepped back for the empty Scania and got to Hayes first! 10.11.22.
26027 rumbles across the Forth Bridge with a southbound ballast train on 28th November 1984. This picture was taken during an official visit to the bridge arranged by the members of the Newcastle University Railway Society. Such visits were permitted at this time and on this occasion the main instruction from our guide was to "stand well back lads" whenever a train approached. There was very limited clearance as can be seen from this picture and, on the day in question, there was a strong and freezing wind gusting to 30-40 mph!!
A couple more shots of this beauty! View from my back deck. You never know what's going to show up. As it happened, I had my camera with me hoping to catch some hummingbirds coming by to visit my little water fountain. These little Chickadees are so pretty!

Dec. 3, 2014 -- The launch gantry is rolled back to reveal NASA's Orion spacecraft mounted atop a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 37. Orion is NASA’s new spacecraft built to carry humans, designed to allow us to journey to destinations never before visited by humans, including an asteroid and Mars.

A four-motor eastbound manifest has the throttle open as it begins to ascend the hill. For the past 90 minutes this train had been screwing around at University, blocking mainline access to the St. Paul Sub.
*sigh* back from a week in Tuscany - miss the house, the nature and land already!
try to catch up a bit today but have to leave tomorrow again for work for four days - hope to catch up after this for sure!
and hopefully I'll have internet there ^^
