Playing catch up with my photos,
This is what I wore last Wednesday to lessons, As it was blooming hot I decided to wear a dress with blooms upon it,
Have to fess up I didn't wear the petticoat to dance in as it was a little to hot for too many layers,
Had a good class though now things are starting to feel more natural
Spotted this dragonfly and frog [ below ] on our hike this morning. [ I'm taking a break from posting cat images...ha]

After arriving back in Ringwood from the first trip of Steamrail's Ringwood shuttles, Steamrail's train was forced to be moved into the yard as a result of one of the five wooden carriages striking a piece of overhead wire infrastructure
The K's then spent a further few hours in the yard, with all remaining shuttles ultimately being cancelled, before the locomotives were given the green light to return back to Newport light engine, resulting in a rather unique tender-to-tender move on the mainline!
After spending a day in the yard at Ringwood, Steamrail's K100 (K153) & K183 make a return to Newport with 5 carriages less than they came with that morning. The K's are seen dropping down into the station at Nunawading on light loco move 0568 bound for Newport Workshops. 8/5/22
The carriages took a further few days to return to Newport, with an inspection of the train being undertaken by Metro Trains finding the carriages were not at fault for the incident. In the days after this the carriages were then finally returned to Newport by a V/Line N class.
Here's the back of the bag partner. The heart is my first attempt at paper piecing- I really like the technique!
At the moment I'm in Singapore, and I have taken this pic just few hours ago. Processing them only by my old notebook is very long...hopefully I'll be able to show more in the next few days.
Coming back from an afternoon's teachings at La Péchardie, near Thonac, the 80s style bathroom plumbing is half caught in sunlight shinning through the laced blind draped over the window.
Just got an id back from the experts & it turned out to be new for me. There is no common name for genus or species but it is part of the family of shield-backed bugs. Not a beetle but a true bug. Kin to stink bugs but different family. It was feeding off the juices of a giant ragweed plant at the lake.

The cows simply lined up at the hill top, I had to take this shot...

Probably there were more cows over the hilltop, but I had to rush to shoot at the wind turbines farm before sunset.
I will post the wind turbines shots in the next few days.

The back tracks of Hanoi, Vietnam. Reflections of reflections in the wake of new directions; remembering the beginning of a journey, and how if you were to never have set out than you would disappear from that scene before your eyes as if you were never there. But that scene before you, has become your reason for having made it so far, and your reason to keep going; the beauty of an afternoon and how it can become everything you stand for.

As we set out on the evening to shoot, with the van full of wardrobe for the band, and a few props, we didn't have any firm ideas where we were going. Urban was the theme...and nothing too trite. We found this in the downtown Orlando area with new chemical tubes and new concrete...and the walls hadn't been put up yet...and no "no trespessing" signs...even though, in Rock and Roll, not sure if that would have mattered :-}. When I saw the highlights clipping in the white, overcast sky through the black tubes, and contrasts...at that moment, I believed I had the "shot" we were looking for. Post shot tones and an overcast of "Amber" included.
And so its back to normality now that our four day Easter weekend is over.
I have spent the four days as myself, two of them was spent going out shopping in my retro style looking around charity, Vintage and retro clothes shops the other two days were spent just being me with no glam outfits and just keeping house, the video was one such look and the grey hoody photo was the other one,
Have to say it has convinced me to go for the laser hair removal because shaving every other day is the pits, and I almost talked myself into booking in to see the doc.
well back to work tomorrow and 12 hours of crossdressing for the benefit of our customers, I would be so much more productive in my own skin,
I knew nothing about watches back in 2015 when I purchased this watch on Amazon. I liked the transparent area on this watch with it inexpensive quartz movement connected to the crown stem. I never wore it much but I did like the creative aspect of it. This watch is deep in the 5th drawer of my collection but I think it is still cool. So, I had some time this afternoon and I thought I would do some shots and see how it looked on camera...I did wipe it down but it looks pretty crusty at macro distance.

Leaf beetle adults range from 5 to 15 mm in length and are brightly coloured. They have different body shapes, from elongate, flattened to globular. Some may be mistaken for ladybird beetles due to their oval shape. Their antenna usually less than half the length of their bodies. One of their characteristics is that they can hide their legs and antennae under their wing covers while sitting on a leaf.
Last week CSX's Spirit of Our Law Enforcement unit 3194 was running on Port Newark stacks for a few days. Here it is leading I168 through the curve at Ridgefield Park.
So this is yet another day of thunder, hail, lightening, wind and of course rain..this is my Hattie....cos she is so big...every says 'Back off Hattie' just to try and get control...
