blazer pattern downloaded with undercollar :) pattern pieces cut out, assembled and sellotaped, transferred onto pattern paper and then onto the ironed calico for the toile, test garment, and finally calico edges zigzag stitched ready to be assembled. masking tape on the calico shows it is the reverse side of the fabric, only removed when the blazer is finished
much happier now i have the undercollar :) the other jacket was not the blazer, hence no undercollar flic.kr/p/2qDqSu7 i have the updated edition of the dressmaking book and the instructions i have only relate to the blazer. for now the previous downloaded jacket will be put to one side. it's all a learning curve :)

i wanted to get a shell shot with matt before he left but we were just too busy.
missing him.... but it's part of life.
After years of playing around with complex shots, snapping the moon, or diving down for that elusive aquatic shot, I had the need to hit the pause button and look for a simple subject, composition going back to re-learning what I am doing. Shot this with an Olympus OMD EM1-II with 12-100 lens, and just a protective UV filter on the end. Lighting was quite contrasty, weather was getting windy, and clouds brewing up nicely behind me. Hope you guys like the shot.
While out walking this morning, for lack of anything else to occupy my mind, I started paying attention to the many signs posted as a result of covid-19. No aesthetic value per se, but truly a historical reference.
With the backshop guys happily eating the provided pizzas, they left us to have fun around the complex. Here a set of GE trucks gets some love and care on April 29, 2016.

I have been lucky to travel a fair amount as part of my - business meaning Terri has been able to come out in different locations.
This trip to Canada was one of those great experiences and we were able to bring out a number of different looks. We switched out the hair so I could have two different looks to compare (also went from indoors to outdoors).

Two lenses just came back from Cleaning-Lubrication-Adjustment (CLA) here in Bangkok: My 20mm f3.5 Olympus Pen F lens and a Leica Elmar-R 180mm f4 that was in mint condition except for internal haze that the Ebay seller called “fungus”. Easily cleaned during the CLA and I got a great Leica telephoto for only $60!
