This is one of my all-time favorite Fall foliage photos I've taken: On October 14, 2011, Vermont Railway's B&R Job heads south through Sunderland, Vermont on its way to North Bennington as the Green Mountains in the background are ablaze with color. The car off in the distance belongs to none other than John "Cully" Cullinan, who was also in hot pursuit of this train.

Thanks to George Pitarys and some prior knowledge from my pervious chase I calculated that after failing to catch the BKRR I could probably get the B&R comfortably at East Dorset, a location that George and Don showed me last time. I headed northward, and as I was around Mt. Tabor I saw the headlight! yes!!! Preparing to see a blue leader (I would have kept going and said hell with it at that point), I was relieved to see 431 leading. Here they are again after grabbing lunch passing through the small New England-esque town, complete with a micro-post office and church.

.........¡¡ A M Ë N !!..............
This is a re-upload and recolor of a previous photo that I posted weeks ago. I made it during an emotional time and deleted it shortly after for personal reasons, but I'm posting it again.

A storm developing in from Sydney's south-west. Later in the evening this storm produced a fine lightning spectacle.

With the clouds building over Leicester 47727 and 56081 run back to the L.I.P. from Worksop Down yard running as 0M46, 56091 and 08629 complete the scene. The foreground had been bathed in sunshine just minutes before the engines arrived and I've left it 'as was' as I liked the contrast between it and the sky.

33207 “Earl Mountbatten of Burma” is seen at the Foster Yeoman loading pad on the Isle Of Grain on 28th June 1994. The continental wagons (JRA’s) on 6T40 19:06 Grain to Hoo Junction were built for general aggregate use by Arbel-Fauvet, France in 1988 and have seen use on many stone flows over the years including a spell working out of Caffiers quarry near Calais for E.C.R with Class 66’s. Some are now modified with higher sides for scrap traffic. As for the slimline Hastings gauge 33, it’s still going and now works for West Coast based at Carnforth, nearly 60 years after builg built by B.R.C.W at Smethwick, Birmingham.
