I'm going to be posting at least one more shot (a GGB shot) from my mid-July Marshall's (Marshall?) Beach excursion, but I wanted to split up the two GGB shots with something natural and not square cropped.
Anyway, I don't quite remember what possessed me to make the trek up to San Francisco to shoot from this spot, but I did it after having driven back from LA, so I must have had a good reason. Maybe the forecast looked promising, who knows.... Regardless, this turned out to be a really productive outing to a place that I'm ashamed to say I had never been to prior.

On break from halloween party set up at redmoon, we were attacked by a dragon grabbing lunch in chinatown.
Facing the nightime journey to Kings Cross on 17 November 1981, 55019 ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER waits for the off at York.
Note the City of York coat of arms above the fleet number that identifies its current depot of York. However just below the data panel, one can also see the remains of its former depot sticker “HA” (Edinburgh Haymarket).
House of Harlot Black with Red frills. The other postings show the skirt with zip and frill at the back but having worn it again at the weekend i am sure it is the front as easier to walk in for sure. As I was gratefully gifted the outfit I am not 100% sure which is correct. Anybody here know?

A wet March day saw Peter at Littleton N.C.B to photograph the workings there.
Little of the halcyon day are evident in the filthy yard, the sleepers are buried under layers of coal slurry and coal laden slimy mud is everywhere. The wagons, particularly the wooden bodied ones, are in a poor state of repair the one to the left has a distinct lean to starboard.. The loco is an Hunslett 0-6-0 saddle tank according to the negative bag.
The colliery was quite an extensive system, the colliery was at Hunnington but the trains worked over a long branch to the B.R. Exchange sidings at Penkridge.

B R Ambedkar wrote the Constituion of India and Fundamental Rights is what every citizen of India gets - Fredom of Speech, Freedom of religion etc.
You often see statue of the constitution maker in select nooks and corners of India. The number of his statues outnumber those of Mahatama Gandhi.
