I knew the place from the 1960's movie called 'Zabriskie point' in which a hippy couple run away from the city and make love hidden in Zabriskie point badlands. I took so many pictures of this place, it was hard to decide which one was best. But then I spotted a couple holding hands in the distance. You can barely see them but it adds a romantic touch to the scene and it also gives a good sense of the scale.

2 đứa hẹn nhao ở trường Phú nhận , lúc 10g đứng đợu , Tới trước mình đứng đợu xong ra cái gặp e . Rồi 2 đứa cùng rũ nhao sang PS Tân Sơn Nhất ăn KFC vs coi phim . Đến ps mình cứ như cẻ dứi qê lên , chả bíc zì hết , zô ps e nói lên đặt vé r` xún ăn sau lên đó chả thấy phim nào hay , ngĩ đến Phim '' Đễ Mai Tính " r` e đặt vé , xong xún chỗ ăn KFC 2 đứa cùng nhăm nhi vs nhao . Nói chịn tùm lum , cễ nhao nge đủ mọi điều , nói k hết ngừng lun chứ , Cừi zỡn đùa vui trông thíc thật . Ăn xong 2 đứa céo nhao lên xem phim . Mong mún xem phim ghê lắm đó , zô coi cừi vs cừi k , Công nhận phim nó hay thậc , cả rạp cừi vỡ bụg :)). Xem xong ra gặp ng` qen chứ , ciu xong cái k dám nhìn mặt lun . qê dễ sợ à . Xem xong 2 đứa lại lết lên chỗ KFC nc' nữa :)) Nhiều điều mún nói thế k bíc =)) . Nói xong 2 đứa céo nhao về Cv Gia Định chụp hìh nhaz , hết đứa này chụp lại đến đứa ciu chụp :)) vui qá đi mức . Lúc đó trời cũm mún mưa thôi 2 đứa c/t nhao về , 2 zìa nhà nấy .Hình như lúc về là 4g thì p~

Thế là xong hết 1 ngày nhah k , cảm thấy trôi qa lẹ qá :)) Mà vui chứ bộ

Mún đi qài qài , Mong thấy nụ cừi lại nở trên môi e

A final photo from a visit to Porthcurno back in November...

When visiting this beach (which isn't too often), I like to include the distinctively shaped distant "Teryn Dinas" cliffs in my compositions. On top of these cliffs rests "Logan Rock" - a 65 ton, rock balanced about 30 metres above the sea, with an interesting history. Look it up - www.cornwalls.co.uk/porthcurno/logan_rock.htm

I timed this photo as a bigger wave came in and washed around centrally framed rock.

Skies were pretty clear on the morning of this shoot. Almost too clear! The one thick cloud in the sky just about managed to catch the rising sun - dulling it's intensity enough for camera to deal with. Soon after this was shot, just half and hour after sunrise, I felt that the light was too strong more shots.

This is one of my all-time favorite Fall foliage photos I've taken: On October 14, 2011, Vermont Railway's B&R Job heads south through Sunderland, Vermont on its way to North Bennington as the Green Mountains in the background are ablaze with color. The car off in the distance belongs to none other than John "Cully" Cullinan, who was also in hot pursuit of this train.

Thanks to George Pitarys and some prior knowledge from my pervious chase I calculated that after failing to catch the BKRR I could probably get the B&R comfortably at East Dorset, a location that George and Don showed me last time. I headed northward, and as I was around Mt. Tabor I saw the headlight! yes!!! Preparing to see a blue leader (I would have kept going and said hell with it at that point), I was relieved to see 431 leading. Here they are again after grabbing lunch passing through the small New England-esque town, complete with a micro-post office and church.
