HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE YOU STAND AND BE HEARD????????????
Dedicated to the people of the UAE who are not able to axcess flickr because the phone company blocked it FOR NO GOOD REASON.
One of two new to Bristol Airport (number 87), and never fitted with destination equipment, Scania L113CRL Wright Axcess Ultralow P116 GHE is parked up just outside Pocklington - it is used as a café for the local gliding club. I believe 115 is locked up in a barn somewhere in Yorkshire.
Coming up to 20 years old but still going strong is ex First Leeds 60133 which is seen here surviving for a little longer with ConneXionsbuses before retiring into preservation. Used mainly as a school bus for the 636H this sees normal service use if a bus brakes down. This was new to Rider York in 1995 to operate the Park & Ride services in York until 2002 where it was transferred to somewhere in West Yorkshire before moving to Leeds where it was withdrawn by First late 2014
I asked the driver to put up the 412 destination to York for the photo as this working is unlikely never to happen. This and 5385 are my favorite buses in the fleet

One of a batch, 562 - 567 (T562 BSS - T567 BSS), that entered service with First Aberdeen in July 1999. Some later transferred to "First Edinburgh/First Midland Bluebird". In 2001 all passed to First Manchester becoming 172 - 177 there (later becoming 60216 - 60221).
T563 BSS is currently (July 2016) in service with Harrogate Coach Travel (Connexions buses), having been acquired from First West Yorkshire earlier in the year.

Former First West Yorkshire 60067, a 1999 Scania L94UB Wright Axcess-Flolin, was seen at the First Doncaster open day at Doncaster Racecourse. New to Yorkshire Rider as their 8195.
Thought I'd better get this shot as I've not had 62392 for a while and with sister 62391 scrapped this is the last Floline we have with the luggage racks. She's been spruced up a bit and had side led conversation done on her side repeaters but as with all the 623s she's running out of time. Defo had there money's worth out of these Scania's though.

Can always rely on First to produce a veteran like this!
P106 MFS (61478) is the sole L113CRL remaining in the First Glasgow fleet, still soldering on as a trainer long after all it's sister buses have been withdrawn. With the surplus L94UBs readily available in their droves, this will undoubtedly remain a one-off conversion.
61478 is seen just after leaving B.B.S whilst on training duties.

Scania L113CRL Wright Axcess-Ultralow
ex 8454 Yorkshire Rider
The second batch of buses delivered to First Aberdeen Ltd in corporate FirstGroup "Barbie" livery arrived in November 1998.
Nos 550 - 561 (S550 JSE - S561 JSE), operated just over three years in the Granite City before transferring elsewhere as they were to become non-standard types in what was to become a Volvo dominated fleet.
The first withdrawals occurred in March 2001 (551 - 554) and by July that year all twelve buses had gone.
Nos 550 - 559 became First Glasgow No 1 Ltd Nos SS163, SS154 - SS162 (later 61567 - 61576), and Nos 560 & 561 became First Manchester Ltd Nos 178 & 171 (later 60222 & 60215).

Preserved First West Yorkshire 61066, Scania Wright Axcess Ultralow seen at the Dewsbury Bus Museum open day on the 13/11/2016 ...with fellow enthusiast and Flickr member Andy Burbidge at the wheel.
First Glasgow's only remaining* Wright Axcess Ultralow-bodied Scania L113CRL 61478 is seen on Rutherglen's Main St at rest between training duties.
Despite the influx of ex-First Scotland East/Midland Bluebird Solar-bodied L94UB trainers in the past year or so (which enabled the last 3 ex-South Yorkshire PS/B10M-55 trainers to finally be withdrawn), the old order of Axcess Floline trainers (& 478) are still hanging on; with only major failures likely to see them off for good now. Considering how utterly bomb-proof they generally are, that won't be happening for quite a while yet...
*: Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the only L113 still in use anywhere within First UK Bus & surely a prime candidate for preservation once it's time comes...

Another photo of former First Glasgow 61539, a Scania L113CRL with Wright Axcess-Ultralow body registered R130 GSF.

Seen here is First Aberdeen (ex First Scotland East) 65594 (W594 SNG), Scania L94UB Wright Axcess-Floline entering door 13 of King Street Depot, 65594 has been sat at the back of the depot since late 2015 but is now finally undergoing Trainer Conversion to replace Bluebird FE 6800.
A former Eastern Counties Wright bodied Scania L94 operates new SimpliCITY service 3. This represents a dying breed at Scotstoun, and should be ousted by further new E300s for the 2 and 3.
