Strawberry Bus's 6 (T357JWA), a Scania L94/Wright Axcess-Floline, enjoying part of a very long layover at Ormskirk Bus Station. Its next working will be a 319 to St Helens, although it remained here for a considerable time after the photo was taken. Photo taken on 10/12/11.
2031 (N131DWM), a bus fitting the description of 'shed' beautifully, is seen here turning off Linacre Lane having finished its career with Arriva Green Lane the previous week. This is one of several N-reg Scania L113/Wright Axcess-Ultralow buses currently being withdrawn from that depot, not before time. Photo taken on 21/11/11.
A rear view of Scania L113CRL/Wright Axcess-Ultralow 2011 (N211DWM) as it departs Mann Island working the route 12 towards Stockbridge VIllage. These buses are now well past their sell-by date, offering abysmal ride qualities. Thankfully, replacement buses such as ALX200 Darts, have started to arrive at Green Lane to see them off. Bullocks Coaches: (N630 XBU) a Wright Axcess-Ultralow bodied Scania L113CRL, the first numerically of a batch of five which had been bought by Bullocks to introduce low floor operations. This one being demostrated at Coach & Bus 1995 at the NEC in Birmingham and captured here before entering service and still carrying the promotional lettering in the windscreen and destination blinds which were replaced shortly afterwards.

Up on the ramps the mechanics can get to work at diagnosing exactly what the problem is. Once mechanically sound, the vehicle will be repainted white, with black relief, and act as a spare bus for both Smith's and Omega.
