Seen on Castle Meadow in Norwich is Anglian Coaches of Beccles former Chester City Transport Wright axcess-ultralow bodied Scania 408 - R84EMB.
New to Lowland(578), in 10/1996, this Scania is seen here having just climbed the stiff 15% gradient on A685 Wiseber Brow, approaching Kirkby Stephen(West) Station, on 20/04/2025. It was operating a heritage service from Brough, to The Fat Lamb Country Inn, Crossbank, Ravenstonedale, during the second day of the annual Cumbria Easter Rally. This excellent weekend is always popular with the preservationists and enthusiasts from north of the border. © Peter Steel 2025.
