First West Yorkshire Limited 60067 T825 SFS, a Scania L94UB built 1999 with a Wright Axcess-Floline B43F body on Vicar Lane in Leeds with the 14:55 Leeds (Vicar Lane) to Middleton (ASDA) 75 service followed by First West Yorkshire Limited 37039 YJ06 XLE, a Volvo B7TL built 2006 with a Wright Eclipse Gemini H45/29F body with a Roundhay Park to Middleton (Thorpe Lane) 2 service and First West Yorkshire Limited 37686 YJ09 NZY, a Volvo B9TL built 2009 with a Wright Eclipse Gemini H45/29F body with the 14:19 Moor Allerton to Morley Town Hall 51 service. Note, T825 SFS was originally owned and operated by Yorkshire Rider Limited as number 8195, and was transferred to First Manchester Limited in 1999. It was renumbered 60067 in FirstGroup plc’s national numbering scheme introduced in late 2002 and was transferred at some time to First PMT Limited, First PMT Limited being renamed First Potteries Limited on 15th May 2007. First Potteries Limited’s Birkenhead, Chester and Wrexham depot operations, including T825 SFS, were transferred to First Manchester Limited on 27th March 2011. T825 SFS was transferred to First West Yorkshire Limited in July 2013

Only a handful of these Wright bodied Scania L113's remain in use across Scotland, all of which can be found in the Midland Bluebird fleet. 62394 is seen here arriving into Glasgow having just worked the 24 from Stirling.
One of a batch, 562 - 567 (T562 BSS - T567 BSS), that entered service with First Aberdeen in July 1999. Some later transferred to "First Edinburgh/First Midland Bluebird". In 2001 all passed to First Manchester becoming 172 - 177 there (later becoming 60216 - 60221).
T563 BSS is currently (July 2016) in service with Harrogate Coach Travel (Connexions buses), having been acquired from First West Yorkshire earlier in the year.

On the day that City Sprinter started their 75 service between Glasgow and Castlemilk (duplicating that of First), the predictable and understandable reponse from First has been to provide duplicate short journeys. From what I can gather, most are being worked with surplus Scanias such as this L94 seen here approaching Victoria Bridge.
Harogate Coach Travel has had a bus carrying overall advertising for Adbell for some years - S104TNB is the latest to carry it.
Coming up to 20 years old but still going strong is ex First Leeds 60133 which is seen here surviving for a little longer with ConneXionsbuses before retiring into preservation. Used mainly as a school bus for the 636H this sees normal service use if a bus brakes down. This was new to Rider York in 1995 to operate the Park & Ride services in York until 2002 where it was transferred to somewhere in West Yorkshire before moving to Leeds where it was withdrawn by First late 2014
One of nine Scania L113s with Wright Axcess Ultralow bodywork delivered to First PMT, as was, in 1998, this was amongst the first low-floor buses in North Staffordshire. 60059 (S817 AEH) has been based at Adderley Green garage for its entire life, and is seen here arriving in Newcastle on service 26. It is one of seven survivors of the batch; one went to Stagecoach as part of the sale of Chester and Rock Ferry garages, and has since been scrapped, and another was sold to PVS directly by First.
Leaving Harrogate with an HCT service X70 to Wetherby (then 870 to Knaresborough and back to Harrogate) is Scania L113CRL Wright Axcess Ultralow N414 ENW. A remarkable survivor, this bus was new in late 1995 to Rider York for Park and Ride duties as fleet number 8414 in a distinctive 2-tone blue livery and was one member in the very first full batch of low floor buses for Yorkshire. Along with later additions as the P&R operation expanded, this stayed in York for 7 years until 2002 when the entire singe decker York fleet had been replaced by inferior Volvo B7L's and B6BLE's - this bus moved to Potteries for a while beofre settling in the Leeds fleet. A rear-end collision almost spelled the end for this, however the decision was made to rebuild and repair to keep it in use. Upon reentering service with Firstgroup, it had been given the new Olympia livery and at the time was the oldest bus in passenger service to gain the livery. Withdrawn in late summer 2014, it was feared this would make a one-way trip to Barnsley - but instead was saved by Craig Temple of ConnexionsBuses; initially bought for preservation, a full inspection revealled it's condition was simply too good for it to not see a bit more use in service for now. So it has been repainted into fleet livery, minus fleetnames, and is getting a bit of use around their network (though eventually it'll settle for use on schools).
It's original Yorkshire Rider fleetnumber can be seen to the nearside of the destination display.
Still going strong! This is the last survivor of the R***JFS bunch originally branded for the superbus routes in Leeds. All of it's sisters have been withdrawn and/or scrapped. Although R452JSG still lives on with Connexions buses. Seen on the 19 service in Leeds. 01/04/15
First Manchester 60214, a Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB, is pictured on Haymarket Street, Bury, at the start of a 'Purple Line' route 524 journey to Bolton. Notice like so many of First's overground routes nationally, the lack of any route branding on this bus.
Originally a Rider (York) vehicle as 8414, this Scania L113CRL has just returned to Yorkshire from First Potteries. Carrying Wright Axcess-Ultralow bodywork and Firstbus fleet number 60133, it is pictured here arriving at Harper Lane, Yeadon on route 97 from Guiseley to Leeds.
ConnexionsBuses S801 SJV is a Scania L94 Wright Axcess Floline which has previously been with Lincolnshire Road Car and then Stagecoach - seen here leaving Harrogate Station Parade with the HCT route X1 to Knaresborough, a commercial service competing against Transdev... and presumably due to how the services are timetabled to comete, the destination 'via' line includes the text "we lead, others follow". There are questions though as to whether this can remain on the displays though due to DDA regulations; several other companies are already amending their destination equipment to revert back to simpler destinations - as some companies such as Stagecoach had been using the destination boards to advertise multi-journey Megarider tickets, for example.

There are apparently 595 of these ElDorado National Axcess BRT buses in the Metro fleet in Los Angeles County. Some carry the red and grey Metro Rapid livery but most are in the standard orange and grey Metro Local scheme. Bus 1515 is an outsider in downtown Long Beach, where most services are operated by Long Beach Transit. It's here laying over on 1st Street in 'the LBC' before working a trip on route 232 to LAX airport.
ex-First Manchester Scania L94UB Wright Axcess Floline S104 TNB is at York Piccadilly between duties on HCT route 142 to and from Ripon. Sadly I missed a photo opportunity with this and a similar bus on the 412 passing by, missed by only about 20 seconds. ConnexionsBuses only have a few more days left running this service.
New to airport parking company Apcoa, this Wright Axcess-Ultralow bodied Scania L94UB is now 311 in the Sanders Coaches fleet. It is seen here outside Cromer Parish Church on Church Street, Cromer while operating route 5 to North Walsham.
Stagecoach In Wirral Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB 28539, X 265 USH was originally numbered 165 in the First Manchester fleet, passing to Stagecoach with the acquisition of first's Chester & Wirral operations, having latterly been numbered 60209 and is pictured in Liverpool city centre after working a service from Chester.

The PSVAR regulations mean that from 1st January 2016 all single deckers used in public service must meet certain acessibility standards, which pre-millenium buses generally don't without modification.
And so First Potteries will say farewell to what has been the mainstay of the fleet over recent times, and the vehicles that got me interested in buses in the first place when they were my regular stead to college - Scania/Wright Axcess single deckers.
Scania L113CRL/Wright-Axcess-Ultralow P430GLS (60134), pictured at Smallthorne bound for Hanley as an 8A was I think the only 'P' registered example in the Potteries fleet and was the only one to have an orange based interior. Despite its Scottish registration it was actually new to Rider (York) before finding its way to the Potteries, this one went for scrap some time ago although some similar vehicles remain in use as at late December 2015.
