I believe he really did a great job applying these decals! The fin was a major plus, whether it was painted or decaled, it was done very very nicely, comparable to even Dutch's infamous fin decal application!
-Detail: 18/20
Based on the Clone Captain from EPII, I looked up a reference image of it. The only reason why he didn't get a solid 20/20 was because there were some red markings behind the helmet, which were not present on the fig. Things that really made this clone a winner was the tiny details, like the small square near the mouth of the helmet, very subtle but very effective details were put into it.
-Presentation: 10/10
Exactly what I want to see with the entries, the picture is a nice, high-quality, non-blurry picture that really shows off the custom!
-Design: 19/20
The templates used are similar to most templates, with the TLC leg design and a wrap-around arm design that is becoming a lot more widespread in use. For this portion of scoring, it's really the helmet decals that really took the cake! The visor decal is, in my opinion, the best part of the fig.

JPO97Studios: 93/100
-Cleanliness: 50/50
The decals on this fig were applied very nicely, all parts of the custom having even, non-crooked application. As always, JPO shows his skilled application through his Hardcase fig!
-Detail: 16/20
Based of of the Season 4 Hardcase, I looked back to my reference pictures taken of this clone. For the most part, JPO had his designs spot on, but points were docked because the details on the back of the helmet were not included. Another small detail that I was really glad to see though was that the line on the fin did not take up the entire space of the fin, as it leaves the edges of the fin white. Little details count!
-Presentation: 9/10
The only reason this isn't a 10/10 is that the background is white, therefore making the fig sort of blend in to the background. This sounds like a really picky statement, but when you think about it, designed or darker backgrounds really portray a contrast, making the fig and all its details stick out. Aside from that, the desired high-quality photo was produced!
-Design: 18/20
Small details overlooked on the template, for example, there are two blue lines over the visor, whereas in the show, there was only one line directly over the visor. Aside from that, the rest of the design is great, you can always tell a custom belongs to JPO from this signature torso design!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xero_Fett: 90/100
-Cleanliness: If any of you have seen Xero_Fett's stuff, you'll notice that he is very good at applying decals, always getting the decals spot-on and as even as can be. This figure is no exception to that!
-Detail: 16/20
I couldn't give a solid 20 because this is another person's template, but credit was given. Score was bumped up a bit, however, because he added some details on the back of the helmet, making the fig more accurate to the actual clone!
-Presentation: 10/10
The unique background Xero_Fet uses always makes the fig stand out and really show off its colors! You are easily able to see the quality of the photo (huge image size!)!
-Design: 15/20
For those who used other peoples' decals, the score was usually automatically set to 15/20 under presentation and details (depending if the decals you used are accurate). I can't give a solid 20 for these categories, because the design is someone else's, but as stated in the rules if you use another's design, you have a bit of a lower chance at winning. Xero_Fett really managed to get a good score on this fig with his excellent application and presentation though!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd like to congratulate everyone who entered, there were some pretty close scores (a few of you got scores in the upper 80's)! If you didn't win this time, don't get discouraged! There'll be another contest hopefully in the spring, so you can try your skills again through there! To the winners, your excellent customs have earned the prizes, which will be shipped to you all within the next two weeks. Just let me know your addresses via FM and you're prizes will be shipped asap! Thanks to all who participated!

This unique Polaroid 420 has been modified by its previous owner with a tripod socket on the bottom of the camera! I went in, gutted the old battery config and added a CR123 battery.
Finally got around to running a roll through this camera. There were some interesting shots, not sure if they look vintage because I ran 200ISO film rated at 160ISO (highest this bad boy goes). Will post those later!

The Ferrari F12berlinetta (also unofficially referred to as the F12 Berlinetta or the F12) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. The F12berlinetta, debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, replaces the 599 series grand tourers.
Specifications
Engine
The F12berlinetta uses a 6,262 cc (382 cu in), naturally aspirated 65° V12 engine of the Ferrari F140 engine family. Engine displacement is shared with the FF, but the F140 FC version installed on the F12 produces 740 PS (544 kW; 730 hp) at 8250 rpm and 690 N·m (509 lb·ft) of torque at 6000 rpm, making it the most powerful Ferrari roadcar to date, only surpassed by LaFerrari. This allows the F12berlinetta to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in an officially reported 3.1 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h (120 mph) in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h (220 mph).
The engine of the F12berlinetta has been designed to be more efficient than that of the 599, as well as more powerful. The engine management system is fitted with Ferrari's HELE start-stop system to reduce fuel consumption when idling. Ferrari reports that the F12berlinetta can achieve 18 mpg-imp (15.7 L/100 km; 15.0 mpg-US) – a 30% improvement over the 599 – and produces CO2 emissions of 350 g/km.
Transmission
Similar to the California, 458 Italia, FF and LaFerrari, the F12berlinetta transmits power through a 7-speed dual-clutch automated semi-automatic gearbox operated by the driver using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Compared to similar models, the F12berlinetta uses shortened gear ratios to match the power of the engine.
Chassis
The F12berlinetta is built around an aluminium space frame chassis co-developed with Scaglietti. The chassis is made up of 12 different aluminium alloys and improves structural rigidity by 20% over the 599, whilst reducing weight by 70 kg (150 lb). The centre of gravity has been lowered by around 25 mm (1 in). The F12berlinetta's weight distribution is 48% front, 52% rear.
Similar to other contemporary Ferrari models, the F12berlinetta uses Ferrari's third generation CCM3 carbon ceramic disc brakes with ABS, SCM-E magnetorheological suspension, an electronic LSD, ESP Premium stability control and F1-Trac traction control. The car's stability and traction control, suspension and other settings are controlled by the Manettino dial mounted on the steering wheel.
Tires
The F12berlinetta is fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, with the tyre codes 255/35ZR20 at the front and 315/35ZR20 at the rear.
Aerodynamics
The F12berlinetta makes use of aerodynamic techniques based on Ferrari's 599XX and Formula One programmes, developed with wind tunnel and CFD testing. A notable feature is the Aero Bridge, an air channel running from the bonnet, through the flanks and along the sides of the vehicle, creating an effect that increases downforce. Another feature is Active Brake Cooling ducts, which open to direct cooling air only when the brakes are hot, keeping them closed at other times to reduce aerodynamic drag. The F12berlinetta produces 200 kg (440 lb) of downforce at 200 km/h (120 mph) – an increase of 76% over the 599 GTB – and has a drag coefficient of 0.299.
Performance
Ferrari reports that the F12berlinetta is capable of lapping the Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute, 23 seconds; three seconds slower than LaFerrari, a full second faster than the 599 GTO, two seconds faster than the Enzo, two seconds faster than the 458 Italia, two seconds faster than the 430 Scuderia and three and a half seconds faster than the 599 GTB.
Design
The body of the F12berlinetta is designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre and Pininfarina, and shares some styling elements with other recent Ferrari models. This includes a front grille similar to the FF and headlights shared with the FF and 458 Italia. The interior, based on the FF, features new "Frau leather" upholstery with aluminium, Alutex, and carbon fibre trim, and has increased luggage space compared to the 599.

When it was county fair time and the carnival came to town, I was willing to try more tricks with a different "twist." the camera was bobbing around while the white ride sprung up in the air. I waited for a totally black sky after the sunset. There is a lot more slack to impart action at 2-3 seconds than at 1 second. It seems that I can never get the experimentation done, another foray with different results. I shot at f:/16 for over a second in the dark. I arrived at the parking at about 8:00 in the evening for the weather to soothe and people to get on the rides. It is difficult getting three rides running at once.but this action technique overcomes that problem. I hope I don't need a description for this shot. I have no idea for a title until I look at the results on the monitor and good takes become obvious but this time, I had very few duds. I expect to delve into these takes at a later time. Each episode is a learning experience and I make a list of pointers to consider.
I never have finished my previous color lights or rose garden experiments. I will take the opportunity to try out more tricks before the next fair rides. I am still not out of snaps of other subjects but I hope my breadth has expanded. Generally, I did little warping and editing, for me at least, to present these the way I wanted. I have learned to slow the camera down even further to three seconds this time but I boosted the lens setting to f:/22. Three seconds is about enough to accomplish a wide array of tricks if prepared and prepanned so to speak. Of course this digital experimentation is cheap. I had fun shooting all of these and they were a breeze to edit! I get mostly muted colors in the ag settings I have shot, so I revel in JUST COLORS.
Bumbled my way into a new junkyard last week near Stockton California. Took a lot of convincing, but the manager ended up letting me stay to shoot until 11. The yard is mostly contemporary cars (ie: about 10 years old), definitely a departure for me, but I still managed to find plenty to shoot and have fun with.
First shot of the night, it was still rather dusky and light. This is a composite of three 30 second exposures, with each lighting angle happening in separate exposures. I would have easily done it in one shot, but there was still just too much light in the sky.
