We have a fantastic catering crew on board who really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Every day the chef puts out some treats, usually cakes or pastries, but today he has made us some banana pancakes which are absolutely delicious.

I struggled to enjoy treats last week though due to the situation back home. People have gone crazy panic buying and clearing the shelves in supermarkets. With this hoarding, and with Debs shift pattern on placement, it meant it was two weeks before Debs and the girls were able to buy any meat from the shops. The past couple of days however it has calmed down a bit and they were able to buy some chicken and mince. So today, without feeling as bad, I enjoyed my banana pancake.

United Kingdom cases: 14,543

United Kingdom deaths: 759

Scotland cases: 1059

Scotland deaths: 33

Day 97, Port 33, Country 17; Mumbai, India: CMV World Cruise

While out walking the streets for two hours before retuning back to Columbus, I noticed that although the streets and pavements where in need of repair. They were all clean of litter and debris. Even around the street food sellers, all debris was kept clean.

Mumbai is a very dusty city, but refuse and waste was kept clear.

I will be very happy to spend more time travelling India.

A cruise like this only gives you a sample of each county or city that you visit. At time a very brief snapshot.
