Golden Princess , Melbourne to Auckland

PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 30, 2016) U.S. Navy divers assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 3 and Mobile Dive and Salvage Company 3-1 tow a boilerplate-testing article, belonging to NASA's Orion program, to the amphibious transport dock USS San Diego (LPD 22). PHILIPPINE SEA (June 2, 2022) - A Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Lynx helicopter, assigned to the ROK Navy landing platform-helicopter ROKS Marado (LPH 6112), and an MH-60S Seahawk, attached to the Golden Falcons of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, fly in formation near the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during Carrier Strike Group Exercise 2022. Carrier Strike Group Exercise is a bilateral exercise between the U.S. Navy and Republic of Korea Navy. This exercise allows our navies to refine operations and engagement to strengthen future cooperation while supporting the alliance that remains vital to the security interests of both nations and to stability in Northeast Asia. I think this was probably the most spectacular sunset I've ever seen. It kept getting better and better, and I kept taking pictures.

Had intended to post the Hallifax photos but this was the first time I've started going through all the photos. Fall color was so amazing but wow - sunrise and sunsets impress me far more than fall color. This is saved into a named format only. This is how the sunrise looked - straight out of the camera but only reduced in size and renamed.

Day 27, Pacific Ocean, Crossing the Equator.

Neptune casts his vote on a member of the ship’s staff as to whether they should be humiliated as a part of the “crossing the equator” ceremony to initiate pollywogs (sailors who have never crossed the Equator) into the Kingdom of Neptune upon their first crossing of the Equator.

Some of the ships staff passed through the ritual of being dowsed with milk, eggs and flower. Maybe they got battered. They were then thrown into the pool to cool off.
