Since the assignment's dare was to take a picture of strangers, I thought I would give it a try. I met these two having fun. The man saw me with my camera out and commented, which I was hoping he would, to give me permission into taking his photo for my Art class. I asked them and they gave me a permission to take this photo. I like this photo of this couple who sitting on a bench. They were both so super friendly that it was quite a pleasure. I like their smiling and how they look at camera.

Taken with Canon EOS 5D with 85 mm f3.5L. Scene is lit by indirect light coming in from window to the left and two sunlight reflectors: one to the right of the table and one above the camera. I positioned the camera on a tripod level with the table top to shoot directly at the ingredients. CS welcome.

I was thinking to take a photo of people who don't know that I take photo of them.

When I saw these kids with their mom I directly took a photo of them. I really love it. I also love how kids held their hands. Also, I like the kid who held her mom’s hand.

In this photo we can see a man who was calling by his phone. Also, there are a woman and a man who were waiting for the traffic signal to a cross a street.

The focus of this photo is in kids and their mom.

My goal on that evening was to get touching and a candid street scene. This hit both targets, but I'm using it for the touching aspect. I LOVED this couple walking down the street, with their oh so perfectly matched outfits. I didn't stop and ask but the guy clearly watched me take the shot. I loved that you could tell they were crossing a busy street as well, as opposed to up against a building or such. If I were better at photoshopping, I'd removed the couple immediately behind them.

This self portrait was taken by me in Toys R Us. My expression shows how willingly I was trying to look cute and innocent. This picture shows how kiddy-ish, confident, Asian and innocent I can be in public. The fruity colors' show how cherry and exciting i am, most of the time. It's as if I'm a kid that'll never grow up or is still in diapers even though I'm 14. :]

My second composite is based on the idea of play in Italy. The red fresco border is from the Villa Oplontis near Pompeii. The bright red is lively and energetic and correlates to the Italian flag. The aqua colored window shutters and the silhouette of the flower are from the hilltop town of Corciano. Our villa is located at the bottom of the steep hill, but the town has a bar and pool tables that we can have fun at. The fox photograph is from a store window that I found on the Internet. I think it fits the color scheme and adds a more playful note to the composite. The texture I added was an overlay image of clouds and scenery that is the background of the flower silhouette photograph. The color scheme for this photo uses colors from opposite sides of the color wheel with red, orange, aqua, white and black. I chose a dark, soft edge frame to make the colors pop out of the composition.

I'm so in love with this little bell hop guy I can't stand it. I love his stripes. I love how big the luggage seems in relation to his size. I love that the taxi was yellow and checkered. I was so thrilled to have caught the moment.

A man was selling tribal masks on 53rd and 5th near the MoMA. This was my favorite.
