5 Shallow DOFs & 5 Deep DOFs w/same subjects in different backgrounds

I finally decided to use this one as my final submission, whilst it is not the most minimal that I achieved, I think it has more interest....I do not think Missy has realised that Huck vanished but when she does she will be after that naughty Tasku.

Requirement 5: Man-made objects

This is a macro shot of a woven basket with each straw less than 1/4" (6mm) wide. I like the colors and texture of this picture and how the narrow band of focus draws you to the features of the material.

This is for an assignment.

Assignment : 3

Skeletoned, still I am a boat.

Floating everywhere....

This was my version of a candid photo. I watched this lady for several minutes while she was on the phone. Initially she was pacing back and forth, not in the direction of the camera. I took a few this way, but it wasn't as dynamic. Once she was finished with her call, she walked directly toward me looking down and I snapped a few. This was the most satisfying as her one foot is just off the ground. I did crop this a little to get some of the clutter out of the picture and did some enhancing. I do wish however that she was lined a little more to the right for the rule of thirds.

This was shot for project52.org assignment 3: Still Life for an Editorial Article.

I spent about 30 min searching the house for items to photograph, about 30 minutes setting up the shot 10 minutes shooting and tweaking and 30 minutes working on the post processing.
