The first visit caught on camera, the top wing tip was just out the farm so I decided to crop in as it was sharp enough to make a good action shot!
A storm approaches Happy Valley in Caloundra. Taken on the iPhone with the Pano App. I like this one too as I managed to capture boy pointing at the storm.

Sometime around 8 o'clock the sun broke through to a great cheer from the crowd around Jiangnan Sky Pond. This photo, taken at 08:27 - just five minutes before First Contact, shows the spectators starting to put on their special eclipse spectacles to look for the first evidence of the solar eclipse - a small piece of the sun gone black.
A fairly straight forward approach this one, onto Nusawiru's 1400m tarmac runway. Very pretty part of Java being near to Pangandaran on the south coast of Java.
Kane County, northern Illinois. June 18, 2010. A line of severe thunderstorms moves through Northern Illinois, moving at up to 55mph bringing torrential rain, hail and wind gusts up to 75mph.
To me it looks as if this building has either sprung from the left and came to an abrupt stop near the right of the frame or has sprung from the right is and disappearing to the left.
I should also add that this is the side and rear view of the building. This is the side I'm most familiar with coming out of the BART parking lot. I say this only because the building does have another part to the facade... : ) If you already didn't know that you would probably think this the only entrance based on these series of images.
For the first time I could admire completely new navigation lights at the head of Runway 24. Perfectly in scene this Wizz A320 on approach.
Going through some older photos I discovered this set, which I had not previously uploaded. These are the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley, near Mt. Vernon, Washington. I traveled up to the tulip fields several times while these were blooming, this was the best day in terms of color, but a bit on the windy side for kite flying.
A pair of Irish Rail Class 2800 two-car DMUs (including 2801/02) belch smoke as they start to make their way into Maynooth station having been stopped at the home signal for a few minutes.
You'll notice that the signal is yellow not green - this is because the train is only cleared to move one signal forward (into Maynooth station), where it will again be stopped by a red signal. The diagonal row of white lights indicate to the driver that his train is being routed right across the set of points as you enter the station - in other words, he is being moved to the other track, which is Platform 1. On the other side of the track you can see the back of another signal - this is the Distant Signal for Blakestown level crossing.
This shot was generated by tonemapping a single RAW image with Photomatix Pro, and the tweaking the resulting image a little with Aperture 3.

A train of A Stock approaches Moor Park Station through a Sunday Morning Haze on the Amersham Branch of the Met. The Blind says Watford where the train will branch off to a little way up the line.
Kit Rae (born 1966 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada) is a fantasy collectibles designer who specializes in knife design, fantasy and sci-fi art. His first job as a designer was for Smoky Mountain Knife Works in the mid-1980s. Kit’s background in art started when he was a child with charcoal drawing, acrylic and oil painting. He was influenced by such varied artists as Frank Frazetta, Michael Whelan, Boris Vallejo, Jim Burns, Moebius, and H.R. Giger. Writers such as Frank Herbert and J.R.R. Tolkien were also big influences. These days Kit uses a mixed media approach to his art, utilizing drawing, painting, photography, and the computer.
