The character walk cycle was one of the most trickiest parts for me personally. After doing research I looked closely at how the feet, arms, back and head moved during a sneaky walk. I first animated on the spot because this was easier for the timing of the animation. In the selection of images above I have shown the stages of the walk, with movements of the feet/leg being the most important. Keeping the character on his toes I feel should have made the animation a lot more of a sneakier look. Saying that I do feel that the final walk cycle that I have produced is up to a good standard for the animation and fits nicely.
I spent a lot of time on this part of the animation managing my time wisely and sticking to my calendar. For my first 'real' walk cycle I have put effort and research into producing something of a good quality. I think that looking at the 12 principles of animation also helped me produce the walk with Arc's, timing and exaggeration being near the top.
This is my short 30 second aniamtion. I have made this animation, using stop motion animation. I have done this by using Lego men as the characters within my video and I have taken indivual photos of them moving inch by inch, second by second, this video was created to show that I understand what stop motion animation is and that I have grasped the concept through my short Lego animated video.

Animation Mentor.com - Second animation for Class 2. Maya flipped out while I was finalling it and the last pose was never hit right because of it, but I fixed the majority of the badness in the pose with an AfterEffects "paint over." I dig the bounciness of this anim, though.
Animation-ish was fun to use to make this video. I used flipbook-ish, saved it as a quiktime and added sound using imovie. I think kids will find Animation-ish motivating. Can't wait to try wiggledoodle-ish with Kindergarten.

This is the piece of paper that I drafted the idea for my A Level Personal Investigation final piece, and a still from the final animation. I produced a looped animation of the development of one of my abstract paintings from this idea, and projected it onto a canvas to create the illusion of a moving painting. I wanted to communicate to my viewers the way that abstract art affects me, and did this by revealing the possibility for movement that my mind sees in abstract expressionist art.
