Last week I was enjoying my second spring hiking, and I suddenly spotted an awesome tree with leaves with this color, and I had to take some shots from it. I love their pastern, and they are also part of a flag, the Canadian flag:

I had to admit that when I saw the tree, I intermediately thought of Autumn, and here is why...

I specially love trees, birds and flowers, but there is so much to see, enjoy and capture during a long hiking trip, a lake, a conservation area, forest or park, the list of places is very long, that‘s why I‘m a photographer!
Graphic design is another way to express myself. I love reinventing a photo that I have seen, in different ways. I use Photoshop to do these transformations, and I also my own photos to create textures.

The wetland forests of the South are among the most unique and amazing forests in the world. According to National Geographic, the Southeastern and Gulf Coastal Plains have nearly 600 animal and over 1800 plant species found nowhere else on earth.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

Georgia Mountains. There are five here.
Still stationary at about 25 meters away (see EXIF). In bird photography resisting the temptation to get closer can often lead to some amazing experiences such as this. See the following post which in time actually preceded this image.
Anacamptis coriophora (Wanzen-Knabenkraut) Lobau, Vienna, Austria. Either it is an exceptional year or I was never there at the right time. Now we live in Israel, for a while, and sometimes explore this amazing country.
Behind our back more than 50 countries and almost half thousand cities, but Jerusalem defenetly in top-10!maybe even in top-5:)
completely immersed in atmosphere of narrow streets, open roofs, from where you can better explore city, even if the roofs are not too high. Here we found the Knights Templar logo:)
To be found just off the very busy road. The by-pass, built in the 1950s, took the heavy traffic out of the village, but it also cut St. John the Baptist off from the village. There is, however, a narrow tunnel under the road where one can walk to the church and see whether John Newton's experience of Amazing Grace ("was lost, but now am found") can come true. The wood frog has garnered attention by biologists over the last century because of its freeze tolerance!
Mirror Image of a Ring-billed Seagull with a catch. Sometimes the light is just right to get one of these shots. Today was one of those days.
The African fish eagle (Haliaeetus vocifer) is not a ‘true’ eagle but belongs to the Haliaeetus genus of sea eagles, alongside seven other species worldwide that include the American bald eagle and the Eurasian white-tailed eagle. This is one of the most ancient genera among all living birds. And it is a sight to behold.
African fish eagles are kleptoparasites, which is to say they habitually steal prey from other species. Common victims of this piratical behaviour include goliath herons and saddle-billed stork.
A fish eagle’s toes are coated in sharp barbs, called spiricules, which consequently help it to grasp fish and other slippery prey.
Fish are not the only item on the menu of this versatile predator. In addition, other prey includes ducks, terrapins, crocodiles, small waterfowl and even – in the soda lakes of East Africa – flamingos.
This bird’s conspicuous nature and charismatic presence ensure it figures prominently in the folklore and heraldry of several nations.
This amazing African Fish Eagle was photographed just after sunrise coming in to pick up the bait on a early morning boat ride on Lake Baringo, Kenya.
The other day a fox was running across our clearing in broad daylight. When I left the house to photograph her, she ran to the other side of the clearing and jumped onto the fence like a cat! And she stayed on the fence for about a minute, so I had time to take a few pictures.
Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!
NO INVITES and GRAPHICS please!!! I appreciate and would really be happy to see your personal comments :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!

"One of the most satisfying experiences I know is fully to appreciate an
individual in the same way I appreciate a sunset. When I look at a sunset...
I don't find myself saying, 'Soften the orange a litle more on the right
hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little
more pink in the cloud color...' I don't try to control a sunset.
I watch it with awe as it unfolds. "

You put your camera around your neck in the morning, along with putting on your shoes, and there it is, an appendage of the body that shares your life with you. The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.
