On our first day in camping in Montriond, near Morzine in Porte du Soleil, there was a massive storm. I saw the cumulonimbus coulds gathering at the far end of the valley an knew what was coming and secured the tent. So when other people on our campsite were caught by surprise, I was snapping away hoping to catch a fork or two.
This was the best of about 10 shots before the storm came overhead. Had my camera on a tripod with a wide angle (about 24mm @ f8) on bulb mode to capture the forks. There were better forks but they didn't come out as well, difficult to balance the exsposure so the fork stands out and long enought to expose the clouds and skyline (about 20-25 secs).
Seen some metres off the Aletsch Glacier (Aletschgletscher), which is the largest glacier in the Alps.

I think this might be the Alpine Bush Cricket - Anoncotus Alpinus - but I'm happy to be corrected! Photographed above Saas Fee, Switzerland, in September 2016.
On the way down from the small ski area above Sanfront in the Italian Alps came across this, and a few other cows.
