To align the chip in my Starlight Xpress camera I built a jig on which the camera could be rotated by putting the 2" extension tube on some rollers. It is a bit 'Heath-Robinson' but it worked very well.

The Moon and the Planet rising up together early morning before sunrise on April 22nd 2009. I couldnt resist taking the shot while I was sitting on my front porch. I used 2 different shots with 2 different ev levels in photoshop to get my final image. Hope ya enjoy!!!

Part of the Alignements de Lampouy in Brittany, Northern France. Again, these alignments are a few thousand years old. We found them because of a brochure in the camping registration area -- there was a map of sites in the area, and we noticed tiny menhir icons on it. As we drove around on the back roads, there were road signs as well. Read my travelogue for trip details. September 2007.
This Volvo S60R came to Excelerate Performance to have a set of front and rear sway bars installed, 4 wheel alignment and road force tire balance.

Mars (left), Jupiter (center left), Venus (right) are easily identifiable; Saturn is below and to the right of Venus; Uranus is very faint, below and to the right of the Pleiades (the blue star cluster up & to the right of Jupiter). Neptune should be to the left of Venus but not visible @14 mm.
Also visible: Orion's belt above the treeline, Aldebaran below Jupiter.

Here I used a 45mm length of 3/16" steel rod fed through the cable guides and zip-tied down to the top tube to aid in the alignment.
