Alignment
All areas on the website pierrickcalvez.com/ is aligned into columns and rows. This helps the user navigate through the page in an orderly fashion. Basically they are using a grid system to contain their content and keep it symmetrical. The grid also resized base on the screen size. However, there is one caveat that makes no sense design wise. When in mobile view, you are required to flip your phone horizontal in order to actually view the site. This is counter-productive due to most people browsing the web on their smart phone in a vertical position. Also, it is easier for a user to scroll up and down then it is left and right on a smart phone.
