Nice Seagull alert board at the Watersplash, my favourite watering hole in Jersey...
Joke apart, Seagulls are particularly vicious over here and will often dive down to steal your food from your hand and if you leave your food on your plate unattended, or wait too long, you will have to fight them or say good bye to your food!
Back story;
as I said I had got low down in the exit gully to get a good angle for the pictures , I totally forgot the bow wave they were making was going to come straight up the gully where I was standing.....
when I realised it was too late, and I ended up knee deep in freezing water.The guys in the car video the whole thing but when we played it back they were laughing so much the video was unusable ....:-)

Here, these two flower grazing Grizzlies became very alert when another bear passed through the woods along the lake's edge.
# Sometimes if I find a good spot where i can play with the light ill stay for a while. This was the case with the recent shots I've been adding all taken outside Wooster's Bakery. People were so engrossed with the pastries on offer making it a really good spot for some street.
#Today I was using Fuji XT5 with the 16-50mm kit lens. I also used a film recipe called Cinematic Mono

In case anyone thinks Dot's life is all catnaps all the time, here's a photo of her looking very alert in her crow's nest at the top of her cat tower.
She entertains herself and us when she storms the tower during the dinner hour.
During a brief respite from the pouring rain I decided to take my son to the local animal welfare centre and came across this deer. I really liked her alert expression and thought I'd share it with you.
