I was taking some photos around the lake. This parrot came very close to me and was observing me for quite a while.
Merriconeag Yachting Association 2018 race 2, which finished in thick fog. Alert was not a participant in the race.

Camm Alert in Buckie. Still with original name Ptarmigan on the hull. It is one of the smaller scallop dredgers at a little under 15 metres in length.

Sloop of War:
Laid down in 1803 as the collier Oxford, in England
Purchased by the Royal Navy in May 1804, and converted to a 20-gun sloop of war, renamed HMS Alert
Captured after a brief battle by USS Essex, CAPT. David Porter USN, in mid-Atlantic west of the Azores being the first British ship to surrender to a fighting ship of the United States during the War of 1812.
Porter loaded a large number of prisoners taken from merchantmen and the British sailors from Alert and ordered her to carry them to Canada for prisoner exchange, including 200 homesick American sailors who were delivered safely to New York in the early autumn Alert was condemned by the New York Admiralty Court and sold to the United States Navy
Alert was found to be unfit for cruising and was converted to a storeship by the New York Navy Yard were she served untill 1818
In 1818 she was fitted out for duty as a receiving ship, serving in that capacity ended 1829

*SPOILER ALERT FOR UNCHARTED 4*
So... I was all worried that something untoward would happen to one of the characters in Uncharted 4... completely unnecessarily! Everyone came out unscathed, and the ending was so lovely.
As for my figures? I actually prefer them having played the game; maybe I've got used to them, but I'm happier with the likenesses now. Certainly Drake poses much more naturally in his current incarnation than he did in his last one, and looks a leetle bit younger, I think.
My beautifully slinky mac from Weathervain dot com Alas, it got nicked from a Manchester club while I was pinioned against the wall outside. I won't object if you wish to replace it for me :)
I Love this shot. It shows the penetrating eyes of this eagle. You can see the power in that beak. This bird is so large.
Camm Alert alongside in Buckie at the weekend. Built as Ptarmigan TN1 in 2013 it's a compact little scallop dredger but not the most photogenic. Usually fishes out of Fraserburgh so was good to get at Buckie.
