Early this morning, a house burned down north of Marble Falls, TX. Now it's time for "mopping up."
This is a panorama I took with my Treo.
The scene inside the Peanut Warehouse after the crowd had filed out. Only a few reporters and camera guys remained, packing up their gear.

Ce n'est qu'au bout de deux semaines que la glace fini par disparaitre. Par contre, les dommages, eux, étaient encore bien présent...
Entre le 4 et le 10 janvier 1998, certaines régions de l’est de l’Ontario et de l’ouest du Québec furent touchées par trois tempêtes successives qui perturbèrent très longtemps la vie des habitants et dont les conséquences économiques furent très lourdes.

3 weeks later after the terrible sleet.
Devastating sleet, which has been crushing trees under its weight all over the country, has caused the largest catastrophe ever to hit Slovenian forests.
According to early estimates as many as 500,000 hectares are damaged, i.e. almost half of all Slovenian forests. The total volume of fallen wood amounts to 4 million cubic metres, which equals the entire average annual harvest. What is more, since the current conditions do not allow forestry teams to estimate the damage on the spot, the estimated numbers are not final.
Two buses full of students tried to go down icy Thomas Street on Capitol Hill in Seattle, and almost ended up on the freeway. News reports said there were only a few minor injuries. It could have been a lot worse.

Brian Jones, founder and original leader of The Rolling Stones, was perhaps most famous for his mysterious death at age 27. Jones’s lasting impact on rock ‘n roll was masked behind his sexual escapades, high profile relationships and drug induced arrests. Spanning the years 1966-1969, “Aftermath,” a drama with the actors playing live music, maps the rise and fall of a troubled genius whose legacy was overshadowed by the very band he created.
