THIS IS NOT ADENIUM OBESUM

 

The Impala Lily is known in Africa and South Africa as a source of fish poison and arrow poison.

 

It is on the Red Data lists of Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe where it is regarded as 'Threatened'. Most of its distribution range in South Africa falls within its Kruger National Park.

Stacked two images in Zerene Stacker.

Take the plant out of the pot and remove as much of the old soil as possible by hand. I also take the plant and wash the root ball under a gentle spray to remove all the ol soil and expose the roots.

As all my friends know i love this name Singha Daeng because Singha is the name of my favorite beer from Thailand!

Native to the Sahel regions, south of the Sahara (from Mauritania and Senegal to Sudan), and tropical and subtropical eastern and southern Africa and Arabia. Planted as ornamental garden and bonsai plant. Some of the plants she nurtured are more than 50 years old.

A cluster of Desert Rose (Adenium obesum / Family Apocynaceae) is in bloom in a small potted plant in Jupiter, Florida, USA.

Esta é minha Adenium depois de quase 2 meses de floração, como podem ver ela sugou toda vitamina da terra e já está demonstrando sinais de fraqueza. Está chegando a hora da poda e transplante para outro vaso.

The newly repotted Desert Rose. Notice how there are more of the caudex that had previously been below the soil line that is now above the soil line. This helps in making the caudex look bigger and gives the plant it's own unique look.
