First time budding on this Adenium Obesum plant, which was adopted as a seedling into our garden about 1.5 years ago! How exciting to see it maturing into a beautiful young adult, though at a snail's crawl! :D
Some plant information
During our trip to Ubud last weekend and after we took shelter for a tropical rain-shower in a local restaurant, I found this flower at the side of the road..
Overall, I am pretty happy with this shot, composition wise and placing of the focus are ok I guess. However as I shot this photo at 1/1000, f/5.0, ISO1600, a little slower speed and smaller aperture would have been better for a bit more dof / sharpness (on the open flower) and a little less image noise during post processing.
Please let me know your thoughts and (constructive) criticism on this photo and the processing.
Processed raw file with ACR 6.0 (development and color noise reduction), Photoshop CS5 (luminance noise reduction with Noiseware, Nik ColorFX for slight contrast enhancement to bring up some details and the water drops).

Common names include Sabi Star, Kudu, and Desert-rose.It is an evergreen or drought-deciduous succulent shrub (which can also lose its leaves during cold spells, or according to the subspecies or cultivar). It can grow to 1–3 m (3.3–9.8 ft) height, with pachycaul stems and a stout, swollen basal caudex. The leaves are spirally arranged, clustered toward the tips of the shoots, simple entire, leathery in texture, 5–15 cm (2.0–5.9 in) long and 1–8 cm (0.39–3.1 in) broad.
