Some plant information on Desert Rose, seen in our neighbourhood. Looks like a gorgeous bonsai plant, just 1 ft. tall! Lovely!!

Adenium is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae, containing a single species, Adenium obesum, also known as Sabi Star, Kudu or Desert-rose. It is native to tropical and subtropical eastern and southern Africa and Arabia.

Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) is native to eastern Africa and the Arabian peninsula. In addition to the beautiful flowers and attractive foliage, the plant is noteworthy for a fascinatingly massive main stem, which is an adaptation to desert conditions. Photographed at the Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. This specimen can be found in the Desert Garden Conservatory.

The settlement was once a thriving establishment by the Chinese immigrants during the cave tin mining era in the early 1900s to the 1960s at Gua Kelam and other adjacent tin rich localities such as Bukit Wang, Bukit Wang Ulu and Bukit Pelarit.

Another flower that glows making it hard for me to capture the true color so i had to take like 30 pics to get the right color tone.
The sun was setting and i love the way it is glowing off the flowers..
I see a little guest has drop by to have his picture taken!
E a Adenium começa a florir novamente. Com esse tempo bem quente, acho que vou ter flores por alguns meses.
