And so the Summer of Death continues. Sunday, my Aunt passed away. Cancer. She was relatively young.
And the next day, one of our former co-workers died in one of those odd go-to-the-hospital-for-one-thing-yet-die-of-pneumonia events.
And I know it's not me because way too many people are telling me similar stories.

Getting ready to soak some red beans. Although canned beans are more convenient, I've often bought dry beans and done my own overnight soaking and cooked them the next day. Guess I like to do things the hard way.
