Following the cars on the London To Brighton run.

Photos of the entire London To Brighton run, from the start in Hyde Park Corner in London to the finish on the sea front Madeira Drive in Brighton. The entire day was dry for the first time in years, but the entire day was very foggy / rolling fog, so some pictures didn't turn out well. Add to that, some cars produce a lot of smoke or steam, made any following cars look even mistier in a photograph. The only non foggy part of the day was at the finish line in Brighton.

The name Claverley may be derived from Anglo Saxon for Clover lea meaning ‘a clearing of clover’. The oldest surviving organism in the parish is the yew tree to the north east of the Church of All Saints, which has been dated back 2,500 years, and the church is built upon foundations that date back to Roman times, probably indicating the site was a place of pagan worship before its appropriation to the church. During the church restoration of 1902, a number of burials of Roman origin were uncovered which add weight to this theory.

Christianity was established in Claverley within a hundred years of the arrival of St.Augustine in Britain in 597, and the parish of Claverley is said to date from 675AD. There is certainly a Saxon foundation beneath the present church, which replaced it in stages beginning in 1017.

Plant identification signage has recently been added to the sustainable landscaping at the City of Playford's Playford Operations Centre, Davoren Park, South Australia.

This project was undertaken by Playford staff and Playford Greening and Landcare volunteers using local-native tubestock species, many of which were grown in the adjacent council nursery by PGLC volunteers supervised by the Biodiversity Team.

Due to being blindfolded, I had to measure my own face by touch and try and convert that to the right proportion in the clay. For example, how many fingers between the eyebrows and the forehead. Eye sockets and a beginning of a nose was then attempted while measuring my face.
