Abstract for one of the buildings in the city of Riyadh

Fourth image in the series. Amazing what you can do with a few sheets of A4.

Here's what I did with the A4 paper:

Take 5 or 6 sheets of paper

Align them on the SHORT edge but stagger them about 1cm on the LONG edges.

Put a couple of staples into the short edge to hold them together.

Now, on the opposite SHORT edge all you do is stagger them again and tape in place. The bottom sheet should be flat and the top sheet the most curved resembling an airplane wing shape.

Pretty easy to do. Once done, place in daylight and play with the angles till you find something you like.

Hope it makes sense. Any questions just ask.

An up close and personal shot of a simple spore that popped from a crazy pod. I played with the temperature to make it something out of this world.

Something a little different from me........I guess that's what the 366 challenges are about!

Seen on a detached house at the side of the busy A40 Western Avenue into Central London.

Fiddling in Corel Painter

Water droplets on top of my car. Macro focus taken at night. Lighting by street lamps with high ISO (5000).

To avoid confusion with some group invitations, all of my images are created from blank. Any image from a photo is clearly marked as such. Best Large

The upper right is a reflection off the surface of the water, the lower left is reflected light from the bottom of the stream. I love the dynamic, prismatic effect of water.

A light abstract of my christmas tree, this is my favorite I think.

Lately I've been very interested in creating abstracts through camera movement....the editing process for me is equally as fun and enjoyable as actually taking the picture. Through the editing process you can actually begin to see what you envisioned in your mind when you took the shot. Sometimes I like to push it just a bit further than I should just to see what happens.

An abstract obtained by taking macro shot of color papers. Orignal shot duplicated for getting this shape.
