I have noticed errors in the data about this picture.

1. It is from Florida , not California

2, it was shot in April of 2022 not in 2010

I used a back-up camera and forgot to reset the calendar.

Strobist Sundays - abstract

Macro Mondays - strictly textures

Flattened steel tube, possibly a small piece of an exhaust pipe.

Straight-forward lighting: small softbox behind, low and about 4 ft back. I wanted to emphasized the texture. Used 430EXII with Skyport trigger. Also, I shot as stopped down as far as the G11 would go to keep as much of image in focus as possible to increase abstractness.

I already posted the straight up version of this photo. Then, I went for a walk. The extra blood flow gave me an idea. This is that idea. Original in the comments. Happy Sliders Sunday!
