These chunks of bleached, gnarled wood on our beaches are like sculptures. The sand seems to offer them up, and a myriad of life forms .... fungi, lichens, mosses, insects .... inhabit them. There's so much life in dead wood, and so much beauty.
I went out the elowah falls the other night and there was way too much spray to get anything, however, the light in the forest was beautiful and the hint of fall color added a nice touch to the color palate. Thanks for looking.

This image captures the abstract shapes of the wake created by our ship in the Arctic Ocean. I cranked up the saturation a bit to make it appear more surreal.
This is play with a telephone cord. Who still has those things? I just loved its shape and there is play on the shape. The dark heart refers to terrorism in the world. During the World Cup Final there was a streaker (I think it was a streaker) on the field who stopped play. The commentator said, as the camera turned to the players and refused to show him, "well play has been stopped by a spoilsport but we won't give him an audience of billions". Terrorism gives you a world wide audience. Today we all know, we all hurt, we are all angry. The dark heart beats on.

Already replaced the beat up CE-3 I had with a near-identical Revueflex AC-1 that I found in near mint condition. Much better!
TMax 400 just barely works at 3200, not a lot of useable shots on this roll.
