One from the archives. Trouble is, I can't remember where I took it, or what it was. So, a real abstract.

An abstract image: Does not represent the subject in a literal way. Communicates primarily through form, colour and curves rather than image detail.

"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the fellowship
of the Holy Spirit be with you all"
Abstract Art ! I like abstract art because there is no end to your imagination ! What is the point copying what is already there !
“Many of my photos consist of a plain frontal view, which makes the experience as two-dimensional as possible, allowing to let the rhythm of the windows and other details to be shown as pure as possible. In other works, I am using perspective, but also in such a particular way that the diagonals organise the image in an almost entirely abstract way. In both cases, I usually choose to disclose as little information as possible of the actual surrounding area of a building. Preferably no trees or lamps and maybe only a thin strip of ground or air, or a tiny silhouette of a person is sufficient to add a minimal sense of reality.” Transformations: Fire Escape Frenzy by Paul Brouns (2/4)

I set the zoom to max on an LCD digital display for granularity and turned it on its side to twist the viewpoint. It looks a lot better and more abstract full size than in the thumbnail, with an interesting mix of red, green, and blue.
I changed the formula a bit and tweaked the color and lighting settings a good deal. Mot a totally new fractal, just a light tweak, but I do like the results. Thank you, Garth, for sharing the parameters.

Some abstract fun. A bit more texture on the beam than I would have liked...
Added to Explore at #410. Thanks all.
When I was taking the photograph the other day of the spider and its web in the wheelbarrow, my first shot was out of focus and all I got was a fuzzy shot of the inside of the wheelbarrow. I tried some Post Processing playing and got this cool map looking abstract, or whatever it is! Just liked it and wanted to share! 😍
