This photograph was born from my exploration of simple forms and the power of minimalism. By playing with geometric lines on a black background, I wanted to evoke a duality between tension and harmony. Each line tells a trajectory, an encounter, or a break, leaving the viewer free to project their own interpretation. For me, simplicity is often the path to the strongest abstraction.
The Abstract Images from #06 through to #10 are all the same original image ... a restaurant frontage in Oostende.
My *grateful thanks* goes out to Sh4un65 (Shaun Locock), who got me out of a 'lock-down' rut photography-wise with this process using Photoshop CC & Luminar 4 ... Cheers mate !

The combination of coloured paper and a very shallow DOF can produce an amazing abstract formation, giving the proper lighting is available.
