This is a photograph of the Salix Yelverton plant taken during an early Spring walk around Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park. Despite the time of year the gardens were full of colour and the abstract depicts these colours well.
Another of my experiments with glass and macro lenses, hope you like it!! :)

Strobist Sundays - abstract
Macro Mondays - strictly textures
Flattened steel tube, possibly a small piece of an exhaust pipe.
Straight-forward lighting: small softbox behind, low and about 4 ft back. I wanted to emphasized the texture. Used 430EXII with Skyport trigger. Also, I shot as stopped down as far as the G11 would go to keep as much of image in focus as possible to increase abstractness.
