In Corel Painter with some help from Photoshop

Man made and nature interact. In this instance the ripple modulated building reflection mimics the head of the duck that created it.

Macro Mondays - strictly textures

 

Flattened steel tube, possibly a small piece of an exhaust pipe.

 

Straight-forward lighting: small softbox behind, low and about 4 ft back. I wanted to emphasized the texture. Used 430EXII with Skyport trigger. Also, I shot as stopped down as far as the G11 would go to keep as much of image in focus as possible to increase abstractness.
