Riverworld is a fantastic land. (Part of my Riverworld series for Phil Farmer) Experimental work = blue and black watercolor brushed on smooth cardboard then painted with Kleenex tissue.

Man made and nature interact. In this instance the ripple modulated building reflection mimics the head of the duck that created it.

Strobist Sundays - abstract
Macro Mondays - strictly textures
Flattened steel tube, possibly a small piece of an exhaust pipe.
Straight-forward lighting: small softbox behind, low and about 4 ft back. I wanted to emphasized the texture. Used 430EXII with Skyport trigger. Also, I shot as stopped down as far as the G11 would go to keep as much of image in focus as possible to increase abstractness.
