Today is a quick abstract. Thunderstorms rolled through Dallas this afternoon and it doesn't look like it will be letting up soon. A good night to stay inside.

As with virtually all my abstracts this started life as a digital capture, was then manipulated, finally printed to canvas.

I found a piece of yellow, rippled plastic in a parking lot and put it in front of my camera. Garbage can be beautiful!

Some stains / on the wall / of columns in an historic church / create better abstract painting / than what I can dream to accomplish.

Taken during the assignment minimalism / no rule of thirds. Not cropped.
