Olympus digital camera

These are the start of my new paper abstract series. Stay tuned for more!

Agave taken with iPhone with the Neewer macro lens. So much fun! :)

It's a pretty nifty little system. It comes with an iPhone case and three lenses (macro, fish eye and wide angle) that you just screw into the case. They are very small but amazingly good for the size and money ($10-15 for the whole kit).

Another orange bubbles abstract

Macro of a jeweled christmas wreath with multiple overlays of paper, fractal, ferns and flames.

The center fractal was bent around with the puppet tool in Photoshop. One of my students in my Motion Graphics class mentioned how much more she liked this version of the tool compared to After Effects and I realized I had never even looked at it. Go students!

Green is the Prime Colour

“Green is the prime colour of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises.” - Pedro Calderon de la Barca (Spanish poet and playwright, 1600-1681)

This is an abstract of forest fire. I composed this single exposure image in central Florida wilderness playing with the golden hour light.
