Taken at the Sycamore Township Street Food Expo held in Bechtold Park in the Sycamore Township suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A combination of purples, yellows and white in this acrylic painting. It's 30x24cm in size and one of my favorites! To see more of my work or to buy this painting go to my website at www.markchadwick.co.uk. Thanks for viewing!
Abstract spotted in Brussels
Anyone recognise this ? No prizes to be won just the honor of finding the answer :-)
abstract digital art
I took an image I created with a kaleidoscope app on my Kindle Fire. This was a design I created from lines and colors I applied myself, not a kaleidoscope created from a photo. I added an image I took with Photo Booth on my iPad. The latter image was an image of one of my abstracts on my computer screen and taken with the light-tunnel effect.
In Photoshop, I repeated a part of the light-tunnel image 6 times to overlay over the kaleidoscope image. At that point, it still looked like a kaleidoscope. I then cut parts of the design and rearranged them, then warped the image to create the basic composition you see above, creating an informal balance instead of the symmetrical design..
I used a Topaz Glow effect and later an impasto effect from Topaz Impression.
Back in Photoshop, I adjusted levels and colors.

One from the archives. Trouble is, I can't remember where I took it, or what it was. So, a real abstract.
"Aquamarine Mosaic Abstract" by Patti Deters. This glass tile mosaic has shades of blue, teal, and aquamarine and was found in Key West, Florida. The colors include some green but the overall impression is of seaside colors with a tropical vibe. The white grout gives a nice clean look to the randomly placed small tiles.
