Foundation drain made of ABS plastic. ABS is not typically used for French drains because it is susceptible to damage from ground freezing. In this project, the drain was buried deep underground next to warm footings, which should provide some protection.

My first entry for an ABS challenge!
What started out as a bracelet became a long necklace... the roses are my own polymer creation, painted to match the color palette. I also used black onyx and Russian serpentine. I just love how the serpentine echos the squares of the trellis! I finished it off with suede cord tied in a knot.

The first month of the new year—a perfect time to get started on the monthly challenges again! I used my own polymer clay beads—the rustic speckle beads and the yellow orange flower drops, czech glass flowers, seed beads, and a brass bird charm.

Works have been completed on 181 homes in the Caol and Lundavra areas of Fort William to install external wall insulation, making homes warmer and reducing the carbon footprint of the Highlands.
HEEP-ABS has already saved around 17,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide and is addressing fuel poverty in the Highlands.

This is a unique necklace that combines mint green sea glass that has been wire wrapped and green gold art beads made from polymer clay. The necklace has 5 pieces of mint colored sea glass 4 polymer clay beads that have swirls of green and gold. The proud peacock is the inspiration for this line of handmade polymer beads.
The base is a rich emerald tone green with swirls of pattern created from mokume gane in shades of old gold, blues and blue-greens. These custom colors were created with the shifting tones of peacock feathers in mind. All the color comes from the polymer itself. The natural matte sheen of the expertly cured polymer yields a smooth finish. An asymmetrical effect is created by the hand rolled snake tapering, each is just a little different every time!These polymer clay beads have yellow crystals combined with them.
Each piece of sea glass is meticulously wire wrapped. The necklace is 19 inches around. It is held together with a bronze clasp that looks like a leaf. This is a one of a kind unique, artisan necklace.
The sea glass comes from the Isla de Mujeres, Mexico. I spent Christmas vacation there and everyday I devoted some time to picking up the sea glass, rinsing the sand off of it and drying it for the flight home. Wire wrapping this glass brought back fond memories of this beautiful little island.

I don't normally camwhore so much anymore but here's a good'un.
Around March this year I noticed I was getting a bit chubby. I didn't want to go into my 30s looking like that so I made a point of saying "on my 30th birthday I'm going to be in the best shape of my life" and making minor adjustments in how I live, to meet that goal.
The picture shows the result of 2 months of portion control and a simple 10 ~ 15 minute pilates routine for flexibility and core strength which I do most weekdays in the morning. I'm not doing much cardio (I hate running) so there's still fat to burn. My waist has shrunk about 2 inches. I have another 8 months until I'm 30.
This picture is here as a memorandum - if after my 30th bday you see me getting chubby again, call me on it and I'll get back on my diet and pilates :)
