This is the full view of my October monthly submission for ABS. I really had fun making it. I used a bead made by Heather Powers of Humblebeads. See MUCH more about this necklace on my blog:

Foundation drain made of ABS plastic. ABS is not typically used for French drains because it is susceptible to damage from ground freezing. In this project, the drain was buried deep underground next to warm footings, which should provide some protection.

My first entry for an ABS challenge!

What started out as a bracelet became a long necklace... the roses are my own polymer creation, painted to match the color palette. I also used black onyx and Russian serpentine. I just love how the serpentine echos the squares of the trellis! I finished it off with suede cord tied in a knot.

I just liked the shot ;)

This young busker reminded me of the kid in the film 'Waterworld'

Taken in 2012. On October 4, 2013, we said goodbye to my grandfather who passed away after battling Alzheimer's for the last few years. I'm so glad Abs will have this photo to remember him by.
