Atlantis Paradise Island is an ocean-themed resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It features a variety of accommodations built around Aquaventure, a 62-hectare waterscape, which includes fresh and saltwater lagoons, pools, marine habitats, water slides, and river rides.

I've been trying out my polarizing filter. I've gotten some great results when shooting sunsets but when the sky is rather blah I find that it doesn't make much of a difference. Am I missing something?

Uhh. Hey all. So I got bored and made this, for my story Atlantis. Uhm, I just finished writing Chapter One, just gotta take a few more pictures then it'll be done. -hangs head in shame

Atlantis in Dubai.
Atlantis is the focal point on the amazing man made, palm shaped island called Palm Jumeirah. Atlantis is a hotel complete with a waterpark, an underwater aquarium, its own beach plus a hefty price tag for its rooms.
This shot is taken inside the hotel grounds, on the beach with the lights of Dubai behind me.
I took the monorail onto the Palm Jumeirah. The hotel had a lot of security screening visitors at the front door. I wasnt staying at the hotel but I just casually walked past security, made eye contact, gave them a knowing nod and I was let through the front door.
Shot is taken with a fish-eye.
Got to KSC 15 minutes before the gates opened, booked it to the Atlantis exhibit, entered through the back (gift shop) and raced up to the ramp. I had 15 minutes alone with her before the first show let out.
Atlantis The Palm Dubai Atlantis is the majestic focal point of Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island that has captured the world's imagination with its magnificent scale and ingenuity.
The oddly shaped hills of Atlantis Chaos are probably the heavily eroded remnant of an ancient plateau that once covered the region. This erosional hypothesis is supported by numerous channels found surrounding the region.
More geological history can be gleaned from up-close looks at individual hills. Narrow dark streaks running through many of those hills indicate either subsurface volcanic activity (dikes), or fracture traces altered by hydrothermal activity.

Aan het eind van de boulevard in Kijkduin ligt een speelboot voor kinderen. De vloer is inmiddels al zo versleten dat ik denk dat ook hier groot onderhoud nodig is.

A labor of passion over nine months. Purchased from a Seattlite in August 2013, painted, squirreled away parts for the build and now the 2003 Toyo Atlantis is complete. Been doing shake down riding for the last two weeks and it's a dream.
