As I was finishing up some work around the house saw that the clouds around as the day was about to end had a good chance at some colors ... So I headed out to where all the leaves have fallen locally on a field below the trees ... turned out to be worth while. Here the colors were just starting out.

Turned the camera vertically here to get all those great leaves leading up to the trees and that pretty sky.

As a mother of three boys it was a pleasure to make a Christmas doll with a top trimmed with lace.

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly how I would edit this.

So I attack it with my camera and then when I was done I sat down to start trying out the bubbles and I noticed there was ACTUALLY a lifeguard on duty and he was watching me the whole time.

There is rarely ever a lifeguard on duty. But I guess I should have realized it since the boat was out. I'm sure he didn't care anyways. I just hate when I realize later that someone was watching me and I didn't notice.

As I was in lockdown passing the time I wanted to try bubble photography. I like the beautiful colours and patterns swirling and changing with time. :)

As soon as this guy saw us shooting Robbie n the streets, he gladly lend us the bike, and we end up having lots of fun in this colorful bike.

As well as being very successful car makers, Singer made a number of commercial vehicles. This 1931 Singer Van, JU 827, was found in a barn in very poor condition. It was restored by staff at Coventry Transport Museum where it is now on display.

As much as I enjoy looking at all the photos on Flickr I have to say they come second to the friends I have made on this site. Most of these friendships will be long distance with written exchanges only but every so often you are fortunate enough to meet up with you, or two, of your "Flickr Friends". That happened just this week when we were able to spend some time with Ben and Larry who were in town from Calgary. It was the most wonderful afternoon spent sharing stories and taking photos, which ended all too soon for me.

The hour and a half flight is a lot easier than the 2 day drive including inter-island ferry!.This is SOC jpeg, not even through Adobe RAW. Have a good week. Not sure I will be back on as many family functions including grandparents day at his preschool.

A few weeks ago, during golden hour, I took this shot, in a very awkward position, on the rocks along the water at the Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby. If I was using a new camera, I may have been hesitant to take this shot, as my tripod and camera were balancing on a fairly steeply inclined surface of a large rock just above the water. I was actually a little concerned about falling in myself, as I did not feel very secure either.

I've got to admit I really like this scene and even more in the square format. I'll try and get back to shoot this again with better light.
