A simple yet delicious cupcake combining sweet macintosh apples and whole jellied cranberries. A fairly dense cupcake it would do well served with coffee and could even replace a good slice of apple pie with no complaints from guests. The light cranberry topping adds an extra layer of flavour and really adds that cranberry punch. As well, my husband ate two for breakfast stating, "These are awesome!"
Magic Trackpad made it here today, enjoying using it so far but only time will tell if it gets much use over time. It feels very natural to use it for browsing the web and looking through photos - more serious work will still be carried out by my Magic Mouse :)

On Monday my wife's family canned applesauce, pie filling and dried/dehydrated apples. I snapped a few pictures of the process.

Apples is 5 weeks old now, but still tiny. Apples, his brother Nannas and mum Shadow, are at the rescue centre waiting for new homes. They're all being treated for ear mites, so still look a bit scruffy. The kittens aren't old enough to leave yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again at the weekend. I'm sure they'll need lots of cuddles! :))
5 stories of love. Sexiest elevator I've ever been in -- all glass, no buttons -- you just walk in and it stops on every floor. Folks in the Genius Bar spoke flawless English, and knew before I even opened my mouth that I wasn't a native. How did they do that?

Incredibly lame reference, but remember Tomorrow Never Dies, where the bad guy has a really thin, light keyboard that he's tapping away on. That just came true for me.
This apple tree is growing in the grass beside the footpath, I wonder if someone discarded an apple core here some years ago? I shouldn't think it was planted here deliberately.
