It would be unfair to credit Uluşkışla town just with it’s nature and view. It is also splendid with it’s sky and milky-way. This photo has taken near by the dikmen road. I turned on the headlights for a second while I’m taking this using the technique light painting..
We are back at the East Coast for three days and have managed a window of WiFi…
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and hope to catch up if I manage to get online between dog walks :)
You tell me you don't love me over a cup of coffee
And I just have to look away
A million miles between us
Planets crashing to dust
I just let it fade away
I'm walking empty streets hoping we might meet
I see your car parked on the road
The light on at your window
I know for sure that you're home
But I just have to pass on by

From one of the last days of August by the lake. A very local mist appeared and only lasted for a short while before it disappeard, and I was lucky to be there in that moment.
.... not quite abandoned...
It was always hard to make a living in the Outer Hebrides. The remoteness and the limited opportunities have been luring the young to the mainland for jobs, education and more choice. As a result there are many abandoned houses on the islands. ... and sheep, always sheep! They are freely wandering the pastures, cliffs and the streets, precursors of the famous "Harris Tweed".

The Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal. It is also the state flower of the US states of Washington and West Virginia and of the Indian state of Sikkim.
The Bond Against Curses suggested the word "rhododendron" as an alternative to the well-known curse. The word can be pronounced with the same emphasis. The proposal was dismissed.

These are dried herbs. To keep the color on them for a long time, I pick whole branches with leaves and let them hang upside down in a dark, dry place with plenty of fresh air. In the jars at the top of the picture are dried leaves, then I pick only the leaves but they fade quickly, the taste and smell remain the same. These are rosemary, sage and thyme from my garden.

Tovdalselva (also known as the Tofdalselva, Tovdalsåna, Tovdalsåni, literally: the Tov valley river) is 143 kilometres (89 mi) long and is one of the longest rivers in Southern Norway. The river flows through Agder county from the mountains on the northeast side of the Setesdal valley in Valle municipality southwards, until it reaches the sea at the Tofdalsfjorden between Hamresanden and Kjevik in Kristiansand. The upper reaches of the river include many lakes such as the Herefossfjorden and the Straumsfjorden (the largest lake on the river). It drains about 1,800 square kilometres (690 sq mi) in territory and the highest point in the watershed is 1,101 metres (3,612 ft) above sea level. The drainage basin includes parts or all of the following municipalities: Fyresdal, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Åmli, Froland, Grimstad, Birkenes, Iveland, Lillesand, and Kristiansand

Red and white are the colors of Bulgarian martenitsa. It is a small ornament (usually a bracelet or a brooch), which all the Bulgarians tie around their wrists or clip on their clothes each year on March 1st for health and good luck.
Lost and Found somebody's marbles, a little back light gives these marbles a surreal appearance, found in North Carolina.
Sunny winter Sundays, there are no boats at the jetties of the Tutzing Yacht club, still to early.
The only boats on the lake Starnberg are rowing boots from the rowing club around the lake.
Museumsschiff Tutzing to the left is not used for boating anymore it's stationary.
Feel free to leave comments and constructive feedback. No P1/C1 or seen in group and similar.

As I frequently use wide-angled lenses, I feel that my shots generally benefit from viewing after pressing L :-)
To all who view and/or comment on my pix; each is a help and a pleasure in equal measure. Thank you.

DMIR 403 and 215 shove a cut of freight cars into the E Yard at Proctor Yard on June 6, 2022. The St. Louis River Road bridge is always a nice evening shot and has been populated by a few more fans lately since 403 found its way out of Canada and back to Proctor late last month. Just like last fall, the day after 403 arrived at Proctor, it was put on the E Lead Switch Soon the 403-215 were paired together and here the maroons work the 17:00 E Lead at 20:30 a week ago.
