Today's lunch! One of the staple foods in England, Fish and Chips is a common take away food. One can find Fish and Chips shops in almost every town/city in the UK.

Big and Beautiful this fellow was pulling a carriage in the Christmas rides last December, found in North Carolina.
I think this is Heart and Club moth (Agrotis clavis). The forewing markings are not at their best, but it has a long arching front line clearly seen from this angle instead of the thick dark central band that is a more typical feature of the Heart and Dart (Agrotis exclamationis). Any correction to ID is welcome. The moth was taking a day rest on a stone behind wood boards in the garden It didn’t complained much when moved around with the stone until the very last moment when opened the forewings a bit making this shot. Bath, BANES, England.
Nash Point is a headland and beach in the Monknash Coast of the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales, about a mile from Marcross. It is a popular location for ramblers and hiking along the cliffs, as well as a “must do” on the photographers’’ to-do list
A rocky wave-cut platform peppered with pools and gullies covers the bay lies at the base of a sphynx-like rocky headland that positively glows in the golden hour when the sun is out
With the Covid lockdown finally starting to wind down in Wales, Nash Point is conveniently only a 45 minute drive from where I work in Cardiff

Wrapping up the month of Floyd with Ian. We traveled up to St. Paul and saw Roger Waters with 18,000 other screaming fans.
This shot is of one of those fans, who looked an awful lot like Santana, until he pulled out a flip phone to take a picture. Enjoy the moment. B
Taken from a boat on the Ceredigion coast, I had the privilege of following this bottlenose dolphin's pod for a good half an hour or so. They were happily cruising along indifferent to our presence. Keeping my camera raised just in case, I was informed the bottlenose dolphins don't perform like their common cousins do, so I shouldn't expect to see much more than sporadic fins and spouts as the pod take the occasional breath. Then this happened! Thank you dolphin.

That spider is called Spidy and is my pet. And the smoke is fake. It's a kind of powder.
How do you know it's me by the way, I'm hiding under a white curtain.
OLEG:
Because the curtain is transparent.
And that spider has to go outside.
PETER:
I take him out regularly and he gets bread and milk.
OLEG:
Peter ...... Spiders eat flies and no bread and drink no milk.
PETER:
Oh...that's why he doesn't eat.
Ok...I'm going outside to look for flies. Oleg?
OLEG:
Yes what ?
PETER:
Are you angry now because I scared you?
OLEG:
Sigh...I can't be mad at you because I love you. Well...go on...go let Spidy out.
PETER:

Francesco Clemente is one of the main representatives of the postmodern Italian Transavantgarde (Italian: Transavantguardia). Transavanguardia is the Italian version of Neo-expressionism. The paintings by Basquiat that I showed you before are also classified as Neo-expressionism.
While I did not get the birds, I did get the bees...at work doing what they do. I would have liked to catch the bee just a bit sharper, but I thought this one image pretty much summed up springtime.

Mural painting depicting the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus breastfeeding - with an angel watching, dating to the 14th century.
At the church Sant'Andrea, itself dating to the 13th century (first mentioned 1236 - when it replaced an earlier church at the same place) and built in the Romanesque style. The church was badly damaged by bombings during the second world war but has been restored to its original looks.
This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "In the Light".
I know, it's been a few weeks since I've posted a picture of Noah... he keeps running from the paparazzi! :)
Elijah on the other hand is more than willing to pose next to one of his new pumpkins in the sunlight. It even has "Salem" on it. :)
Next week I will be starting a new round of chemo. I can no longer get the immunotherapy treatments since it caused my breathing to be so labored. I'm not sure if I will be able to post new photos in the next several weeks. I was told that one treatment will be like getting three treatments all at once. I am hoping that since I did so good with the last round of chemo that I will not have any problems with these next two.
On the lighter side... I have been so happy with my 2 1/2 inches of hair... and now it's more than likely going to fall back out. 😬 I wonder if I can find one of those knitted hats with the long tail like I used to have as a kid in the 70's?! That should keep me warm with this cooler weather coming. ;)

Peter, Oleg and Bernus are on their way to Hakus the brother of Bernus. It's not going as fast as expected. It is still 50 km (31.07 mi) to go.
It has now become autumn and there is a lot of wind and rain.
BERNUS:
How lucky we have found this umbrella. Now we can stay dry.

That is a mushroom and it is not suitable for the rain Peter.

Have a look ..... It is getting lighter! The rain is almost over and then we can hit the road again!

Local boat and our cruise ship in Enmelen, a small Russian village in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (not far from the Bering strait).
Enmelen is inhabited by Chukchi people and only accessible by sea.
