When I made my choice for game photo a few days ago, this was the viable alternative to what I chose (see below). I am still not sure, but I think I may now be leaning toward this one.
Help! Opinions?

I have 2 shots this week but Im not sure I really want to share the other.
No?: I didn't take it.
Yes?: Its what I was this week.
So for now, this was me playing with the lens that I salivated over for a weekend. Had to drop the beautiful girl back home today, so all I'm left with is jelly beans.

An alternate take from my stranger encounter with Sadhbh. I asked if she could give it some 'attitude' and this is the result. I just love the mood in this, especially suiting the weather, and I hope that Sadhbh loved both of the shots too.
Enjoy full screen by pressing 'L' and I hope you are all having a great week.
Macro Mondays theme: Wire.
Not sure what kind of wire was used to make this heart but it is attracted to a magnet. The light gives it a rosy cast but it looks more like a slightly tarnished silver.
HMM
On my way down from Rough Ridge last month, I knew I wanted to grab a shot of the bridge (which I posted) already, but I also happened to notice this gnarly tree which seemed like a nice addition to the shot. I processed it with just a bit of a glow to give it a deeper forest feel. Probably no more photos to post for a while as I'm heading out on a family vacation in a few days and gone for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll have some shots to share when I get back. Hope everyone is doing well!
Here's another detail shot from my Alternate Transportation cyberpunk scene, showing the tram from it.

Yep, that's my cool 365 mug. It's like my little prize for completing the project.
If anyone is interested in the mug and shirt, it's available here.
Now the men's T-shirts are available in the same shop.
This week’s theme for my 52 project is “HDR.” I’ve tried HDR photography a couple times before, but I haven’t been that happy with the results. I explored two tools available to me: Lightroom and Nik Efex HDR Pro 2. Ultimately, I preferred the results with the Nik software. It gave me more functionality and allowed more adjustments to the photo.
I didn’t have any great ideas for subjects, so I took some pictures from my condo. This is my alternate shot taken during the day. All the little details like the signage and the cars on the street would normally be too dark to see. I don’t tend to like HDR photos that look like they’re glow-in-the-dark. I think this one is a little borderline, but still works.
After last week's late-spring blizzard, we are now getting a hint of spring as temps rise and things thaw. I decided to head into downtown Minneapolis and see what I could do with the camera. Enjoy!
Here is the Capella Tower, another favorite architectural site within the Minneapolis skyline! "Capella Tower is an icon on the Minneapolis skyline with its cylindrical form and distinctive crown."
