The Bridge and Castle of Sant' Angelo in Rome are in the background. The jousting contest has not been identified with any particular occasion. Portraits of Vernet and his wife are said to be included in the picture, presumably the elegantly dressed couple on the right in the foreground. In 1745 Vernet had married Carlotta Cecilia Virginia Joachina (born 1728), daughter of Mark Parker, an Irish Catholic living in Rome. Commissioned by the Marquis de Villette in 1749, and one of several pictures by Vernet which he owned. The painting was exhibited at the Paris Salon of 1750.

(500) Dias com Ela - São poucas as pessoas do meu convívio que assistiram esse filme e não sentiram algo muito forte ao ver ele. A trilha sonora, a Zooey Deschanel como menina bonita, os vestidos azuis das cenas felizes, a cena de dança, Hans Solo, The Smiths, Chloe Moretz... É o filme da minha vida.
Juno - Meu amor por Michael Cera nasceu com Paulie. E esse é outro que o que mais me encanta é a trilha sonora. Sei tocar Anyone else but you no violão, a única música que sei tocar no violão.
As Meninas de Lygia Fagunde Telles - Eu tinha 13 anos quando quis ler esse livro mas só fui ter ele em minhas mãos seis anos depois. Eu nunca encontrava ele em livrarias ou bibliotecas mas na semana do natal eu tava em um sebo na minha cidade e ele sorriu pra mim. Ele é lindo com capa dura e folhas amareladas, com cara de já relido. Li em três dias e me apaixonei pela história das três meninas nos anos 70. Maravilhoso.
Sussurro de Becca Fitzpatrick - O Pacth é o cara dos (meus) sonhos. Teria uma noite de prazeres com ele fácil. Comprei no sebo também sexta passada e ele já está todo rabiscado, cheio de anotações. Eu já havia lido o livro em uma comunidade e tenho botons e camisetas. Só ele que me faltava e agora que eu tenho eu sou mais completa.
