so...I'm Bald! Ha. How strange. I was very afraid that I'd look like a freak, but I don't think it's too bad.

I am so overwhelmed by my friends and family and complete strangers that have been a part of this experience. I've cried tears of joy many times over the past few days and I don't regret this experience at all. Thank you to all you flickr people that have been visiting and commenting and giving me encouragement and support. You have no clue what this means to me, what this means to the researchers and most importantly what your actions and thoughts mean to the children and families that deal with cancer daily.

It's a fall tradition for our family to go to the Apple Orchard & Pumpkin Patch. Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree fall day in Michigan. We headed to Apple Charlie's in New Boston, Michigan to pick apples and get pumpkins. We had fun picking apples. While we were there, we decided it was a little to early to get carving pumpkins, so we ended up not getting any. Instead we brought home Cider and Donuts.... yum!
I took this from the car park at work (I hope no-one was looking! ) :P
Anyway, i used my ND110 10 stop filter for this one. The settings i used were:

The Fighter Collection’s Merlin-engined P-40F is one of only two left airworthy anywhere in the world. Manufactured at the Curtiss facility in Buffalo, New York in the autumn of 1942 and allocated Bu No. 41-19841. She was delivered by land to the Stockton In-Transit Depot in California for onward shipment in November, where she was then shipped to the Thirteenth Air Force in the Southwest Pacific on Christmas Eve 1942. Unfortunately her service career remains a mystery, but the only P-40Fs to see combat in the Pacific Theatre were flown by the 44th and the 68th Fighter Squadrons of the 347th Fighter Group in the Solomon Islands from November 1942 to October 1943.
Our Warhawk ended her wartime career when she was condemned by the USAAF in November 1943, and dumped on the largest of Vanautu’s islands, Espiritu Santo. She was eventually recovered from the island in the 1970s, and acquired by The Fighter Collection some years later and stored in Australia until the restoration commenced in Wangaratta, Victoria. The in-depth restoration was completed in early 2011 and our P-40F made her first flight for 68 years in April of that year.
Due to the lack of information on her service history, our P-40F wears the stunning scheme of Lee’s Hope from the 85th Fighter Squadron, 79th Fighter Group, which was flown by Lt Robert J Duffield from Capodichino airfield, southern Italy in early 1944.

Esse esmalte e muitos outros filhos únicos que eu tenho foram presentes da Dora <3
Ele é bem roxo (no celular a cor ficou relativamente fiel, mas no meu monitor ficou puxada pro azul). Tem um ~glow rosado que aparece no vidrinho, mas praticamente invisível nas unhas (foto do vidrinho com o "glow" nos comentários). Na primeira camada ele ficou um pouco manchado, mas na segunda fechou perfeitamente. O pincel é gordinho, ótimo pra esmaltar. Tive que sair logo depois de esmaltar e como dei uma esbarradinha, passei TC antes fotografar, achei que ficou até mais bonito! Amei o esmalte e já entrou pros meus favoritos deste ano.
Sou #imiteira e resolvi colocar a letrinha na foto - só não é uma letrinha tão fofa quanto a da Ilana rsrsrs
