I take down the rest of Wesker's men and I than move on to the Ventriliquist himself.
SF: "Shoot him! Shoot him ya dummy!"
Wskr: "I'm trying! I'm trying!"
NW: "Wesker! You don't have to do this!"
Wskr: "I have to..."
NW: "Don't forget Arnold, he's the puppet. Not you."
Wskr: "I- I-.."
SF: "Don't ya dare listening to that birdbrain!"
NW: "Arnold, if you shoot me now, my friends will take you down, and you'll go to Arkham for a lifetime. You'll go to Arkham anyway, but we can help you if there's one less murder on your hands. Do you really want to go to Arkham for a lifetime, without any treatment, thanks to that puppet."
Wskr: "Y- you're right."
SF: "Wesker?! No! If you drop me I'll-"
Wesker drops Scarface to the ground. Batman once told me he took Wesker down by making him remember who he is, and that he shouldn't listen to that puppet. It won't stick though, because the Scarface in him will always make him wanting to break out.
NW: "Good job Arnold. You did great."
Wskr: "I'll get the right treatment in Arkham right?"
NW: "Of course."
Azrael is still fighting with Black Spider, but when Spider sees I defeated the Ventriliquist he kicks Azrael in his stumach and starts running.
Azrl: "Ouch!"
NW: "Azrael!"
NW: "Huntress! How far are you with the bombs!"
Hntrs: "Almost done! It's a big factory you know!"
NW: "Where are you in the factory!"
Hntrs: "East side!"
NW: "Crap, to far..."
Hntrs: "Why? You need back-up?"
NW: "Everyone is down except Black Spider. He's making a run for it and Azrael is hurt."
Hntrs: "I'll get there as fast as I can!"
NW: "Don't rush it. We'll get Spider another day. We need to take Azrael to the Batcave and see which territories are most suitable to take right now."
Hntrs: "Alright. Everyone on my side is outside. If we are gone, I'll let the explosives blow!"
NW: "Alright! Nightwing to Penny-1."
Alfrd: "This is Penny-1, what do you need master Grayson?"
NW: "I need a map of the whole city so we can see what territories we can take next."
Alfrd: "Alright master Grayson."
NW: "Oh! And prepare a medical bed! Azrael needs to lay down for a moment, he's been hurt."
Alfrd: "Oh dear. I'll get it prepared as soon as possible."
NW: "Thanks Penny-1!"
Alfrd: "Of course master Grayson."

Cynthia (stranger 41)
What Cynthia and I both had in common was waiting for the surfers who sailed back and forth at the Brouwersdam on Lake Grevelingen. I was there to take pictures of my son when he was back in the area and Cynthia was waiting for her boyfriend. The wind was blowing hard (good for the surfers) and when the sun disappeared behind the clouds it became a lot colder. Cynthia stood there with a scarf in front of her face against the cold wind. That gave her something more - in the middle of the summer with a scarf - and so I asked if I could take a photo (I was waiting for my son to be around again). She cooperated immediately and suggested to be more in the light. Thank you Cynthia.

The Birthday part two.
Not long after getting to know Phil, we had a long chat about how I wanted to make "Those pictures with steel wool". He drew a bit of a blank and I endevoured to explain.
Simply take:
1 basic kitchen whisk
1 dog chain lead
1 packet of DIY steel wool
a small length of jewellry wire
a kitchen gas lighter
2 torches
1fire extinguisher
1 camera and tripod
2 very excited children (by children I mean adults with a passion for FIRE! there was a lot of this bit "Fire do do dooooo do do do FIRE")
So, use the wire to attach the whisk to the dog lead. Fill the whisk with some steel wool.
Pop the camera on the tripod, using one of the torches shine it on your clothing and let the other child focus the camera. Click the focus into manual.
Light the wool with the lighter and begin to swing the lead in a circular motion.
At this point burning wool will be sparking out all over the place and you can't help but scream.
Whilst you are screaming, have the other person hit the shutter, making sure your shutter speed is slow enough, this will catch the sparks and create a giant catherine wheel.
For further details, ask me or better still, google you tube and watch the same gurus that I did :)
We did this behind a derelict chippy, close enough to the road to drive, but sheltered enough not to draw attention. It was an EPIC way to spend a difficult day and ultimately I think we both exorcised a lot of pent up emotion.
Phil burned his hair a bit, got a small hole in his fleece and worked up a friction blister on his index finger from the speed he swung the chain at.
I burned my hat, screamed a lot and went home with holes in my tights.
All in all a wonderful evening.
(Do you recognise the location?)
Oh and Michael Westall thank you for this tip-off! www.homeofpoi.co.uk/ I cannot tell you how excited I am to discover this!
The snowstorm of the past few days has cleared. It's sunny again and I am looking forward to summer. June 10th looked like this last year.
