It's that time of year again when I start wondering if getting a real tree was a great idea. These pine needles hang around forever and I just know that when I was sweeping them up I was capturing needles from the 7 years of trees that have graced this flat since I moved in. Of course all this will be forgotten by the end of the year when I will yet again be seduced by the smell and look of a real tree and there'll be more pine needles to mingle with the leftovers from this tree!

The national Olympic squad failed to recover from Syria's onslaughts in the second half to succumb to a 0-2 defeat to Syria in an Olympic qualifier at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil Wednesday night.
