1978 Ferrari 400 Automatic

At the 1976 Paris Auto Salon, Ferrari introduced the new 400 2+2, its replacement for the 365 GT4 2+2. Featuring distinctively angular styling by Pininfarina, the 400 continued to provide luxurious and spacious high-speed transportation for up to four passengers. Produced in 400 and 412 variants from 1976 until 1989, just 2,383 examples of this limited-production series were built. With its handsome bodywork and high performance levels, the 400 has recently attracted the attention of astute Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts and they are widely regarded as very capable grand touring machines.
24297: Finished in desirable black paint over tan hides, this immaculate one-owner, 19k mile example benefits from a lifetime of proper maintenance and knowledgeable ownership.
A top notch candidate for any preservation class, this car presents superbly inside and out. The original black finish stills displays a deep glossy shine, while all rubbers remain supple and dry-rot free. The clean cabin features dual A/C climate zones - front and rear, a beautiful wood veneered console, and supple two-tone upholstery. The Ferrari remains highly original, as great effort has been put forth to preserve its charm. Original registration card and paperwork accompany the car, along with Instruction Book, dusting cloth, both sets of keys, emergency roadside kit with roll, jack and spare!
Complemented by a set of correct five-spoke magnesium wheels and Michelin tires, this elegant, yet very sporty 400 is certain to offer the thrilling driving experience that only a Ferrari can deliver.

Auhagen 2/39 Dorfgasthaus. Historically interesting as I guess this must have been one of the first items Auhagen made after privatisation in 1990 - or maybe not? I think the model cars in the photo in the box may be a clue to its age. Box format exactly as the Mamos style, the logos are as used in the early 70s, and the address given as DDR. The box has DDR-style HSL number etc, but lacks any EVP. HO/TT scale. If anyone has more information about this item I would be delighted to hear! I'm waiting for a chance to get this out of storage to have another look for information.

The Lake, Williamson Park, just after noon. I stopped by the park on the way to work, midday but with very muted light. Clemente and Nuno were going around the lake, with Clemente taking photos from various angles. When they got around to where I was, it was beginning to drizzle slightly. I told them about the project and asked to take their pictures. My idea was to try the more complex backgrounds than in my recent photos. They quickly agreed; it seems people with cameras are more likely to say yes.
I asked them to tell me something about Lancaster. Clemente said it was his first time here; Nuno had brought him on a daytrip from Liverpool. Both of them are from Madeira; Clemente's photographs of his home island can be founds at www.facebook.com/ClementeChicharo/photos_stream, and he posts on a Portuguese-language photo site, Olhares.sapo.pt.

My first addition to Scavenger Hunter Gatherer. Electrical box of a Brunswick A-2 pinsetter. I've actually been following the group for a while before I joined so I already have a few shots lined up that I'd like to take.
I got this in the mail today, it's a shadow from the ELF Duo Smoky Eye Kit (5 bucks for 4 duo shadows and a brush, and they're all actually really nice quality) I LOVE the black in this duo, how cool is that shimmer?
Nice to get out for a couple of hours this afternoon.. Only 39(s)miles (kept stopping for pictures!) Lovely mixed weather too..
Plus in the collage are the two recording apps I use - RealRider and RideWithGPS..
